Well, it's a shame that this channel is dead. I guess it's better to have a couple tutorials than nothing, thanks Aristotelis. edit: well, thanks to youtube recommendations I discovered that there's another channel called Aris.Drives where Aristotelis continues his tutorials and much more :-)

Hey Aris. Very very big thanks for this and making my request in the previous Go Faster video comments. These works need (preparing videos like this) a lot of time to do, I know and I'm really grateful to you. I will be waiting for your next one for as you told in this video and I will be supporting AC always. ( Maybe in near future we can hear about Assetto Corsa 2, like the other games did. I hope so :) )

This video is useless, how am I meant to understand anything without Maurizio getting pushed over ? Next time get Maurizio to stand on the roof of the car as you drive around that should provide a clear visual aid.

Great video, I applied these principles to the Lancia Fulvia at Brands Hatch GP and knocked three seconds of my best time and it feels way more settled in corners. Thanks for this

I have no problem with this car in this track at all. Excellent weight transfer and really good balance. And for better understanding i play keyboard. Great game. God bless all the team that made it come true.

thank aris, so much awaited video. btw, i think you should move the pedal app under the gear app. not to screw with you at all, I just think the point, for me at least, was all along that people want to see both app together (how fast are you going in which gear with how much throttle pressure, etc.) and they are far apart. Cheers, keep them coming! :)

What an awesome video thank you so much! I was really looking for such material for a very long time now! I have one question though, regarding the ride height for that specific car you stated that depending on the suspension more precisely you mentioned it's wishbone geometry and concluded that it should be at 150mm. These type of information is gathered by general knowledge? Or is there some way to test what is the optimal ride height? Please keep these videos coming since the marvelous thing that you are doing is showing us how to solve the problems that face the setup as well of how to diagnose each one of them properly so your setup orientation always gets in the right direction instead of tinkering with the wrong parameters.

The power curves are not available on consoles. I understand it would be a pain in the bottom to put them on consoles, but it would be very cool to have them somewhere easily accessible, such as the official webpage.

Great video. Has this series been continue? Would love to hear a comparison of adjusting springs,dampers and roll bars. There is plenty of theory out there how to adjust it, but it is so hard to feel in a sim, particularly if a car is oversprung/overdamped or if a car bottoms out. I'd love some help on that. Or is there telemetry? I'm playing on Ps4, which I guess means limited options? Should I switch to PC for the app support?

Is there anyway to petition Assetto Corsa to make the shocks and anti-roll bars stiffer and adjustable in this thing? These mods would be period correct and make a much better (and more accurate) car. Another notch stiffer on the springs would be good too.
@JamesCoyle957 жыл бұрын
Do you have any tips for driving in low temperatures? I like using the Content Manager launcher for Assetto Corsa with the real world weather conditions enabled but that means the track temps are around 15 degrees celsius at the moment. It's almost impossible to keep slicks at any sort of decent temperature and even street tires struggle to stay warm.
@GameTrackOfficial7 жыл бұрын
Generally, you need as hard suspension and dampers as possible and as low tyre pressures as possible... but if you still can't get heat on them, then just go the other way around and ignore the temps and try to get as much mechanical grip from the tyres as possible, even if you have low temps. Keep in mind that in real life you hear soft/medium/hards tyres, but in reality there are different "soft" and different "mediums" and so on, and the tyre manufacturer can bring the ones that see the most fit for the situation

I had the same feeling when I started to use mine, nowadays it is needed! You will notice a difference if you insist on get used to heel and toe because when you gear down you will have a much more stable car matching the revs. Try it a lot and get used to it and will worth gold.
