I wish this was taught in our education system. So beautifully explained!! We are taught things that come in no use in our daily life (trigonometry etc) or are taught pure theory (mutual funds) which does no good in real life investing. Heck! I was never taught about expense ratio or lock-in period.

Sir aapke is video se bahut kuch sikhne ko mila thanks for making such videos. Ek video sir please inflation rate pe bhi banayiye jo ki pichle 10 saal ke inflation rates ko conpare kare. Because inflation plays an important role in mutual funds returns. Because agar hum 12 to 15 percent average return ki baat kar rahe hai and that too in 5 to 10 years then we must also compare the inflation rate table before investing in mutual funds. Meri aap se request hai sir please inflation rates pe bhi 1 video banayiye sir

Why to invest in Mutual Funds? Features & Types of MF. How to Invest in MF? Pros & Cons of MF. 4 imp point during any investment: 1. Risk - no investment is of Zero risk. - not even in savings account there is Zero risk. If bank bankrupts where does all money go? 2. Return - long term average return, i.e after 5-10 yrs - returns should beat inflation. If returns is not equal to inflation then we are getting loss in our investment. 3. Volatility - check the ups & downs of the return. - if frequency of that particular return goes down mostly, then what would you do in case you have an urgent need of money. - depend on Sensex & Nifty. 4. Liquidity - How early you can take out the cash from any investment. How early any investment can be converted into cash. Why to invest?? MF; Risk : moderate (less than stocks but higher than real estate & gold, fixed income securities) (A MF participate in multiple stocks, that a individual person w/o knowledge couldn't so risk reduces for high return) Returns : 13-15% (MF beat inflation which is of 7-8%) Volatility : High (can go suddenly up 30% in a particular yr and go down 30% another yr) Liquidity : High (we can sell at any time just like stocks)
