You sure can. The only time you can't is when a card "plays" a card from your deck. That makes you play the card and you can't put it in the graveyard. That interaction is why you can Simlas Waylays and still spawn the Deadeyes when your opponent had no units for example. I've gotten a lot of comments from people not knowing this so you're not alone. Maybe I'll make a short video on it.

Both are good. I think Double Cross is more fun but the added control from Enslave 6 and freeing up some provisions by not running Runemage I think is a bit better. I haven't played either all that much though.

Assimilate vs Status Ball is always such a funny match up, you played it really well I think - also I think Philippe is pronounced like “Phil-eep” bc it’s a French name rather than the Spanish “Felipe” with the “ay” sound on the end

I reckon assimilation is the best archetype in Gwent. You must know about almost all of cards in this game. Moreover, dose of rng gives some spices

I swapped it for Lydia to try her out instead after her buff. You could cut a different Gold to run it though. Bribery can make a lot of hilarious things happen.

how would you do this deck with Stefan Skellen? What cuts/additions are needed?

Probably change to Enslave and cut the Runemage and the two Remedy for 4p tactics and a 4p bronze, maybe Mage Infiltrator to combo with Braathens or a Fire Scorpion and add Stefan. Hefty Helge + Defender is also quite popular right now which you could add by removing Braathens, Lydia, and the disloyal cards. That also gives you a few extra provisions to work with for something like False Ciri or Magne Divisions. There are a lot of options for the deck depending on what you like.

I really like Assimilate and in my opinion it requires skill to master. I kind of think including Stefan brings the best version, but not sure Ps. Get the Braathens premium. One of the best premium card arts 😉

I think the Stefan version in Enslave is probably the best version too, but I hadn't tried out the Double Cross version in a long time.

Why do you play magic lamp and not for example cursed scroll?

Because Jan Calweit already stacks the deck for to get all your gold cards I wasn't too concerned about needing the consistency from Scroll.

Why always when people play asimulate they don't combo ruin mage with the asimulate engine they always make him throw card 😟

Cause u need him quite early, and your engines won't stick at that point, when opponent still has removal

Rune mage gives you more options, when the game lets you pick a random card so its better to use him early.
