I think the removal of maa knockdown is huge, more relevant than the reduced damage to heroes, because it means no more jail free card after their charge, it means that an enemy that unit survives with a sliver of health can react at the same time they get hit and at least severely damage the maa unit, it's not as good as the needed nerf to their charge damage but it's still a huge nerf. Resolving the "stacking" issue would turn them from s tier to paladin tier, most of the melee units that have damage potential is because they stack on each other, for a melee unit, no stacking means they are lining up to get killed, just look as the paladins they auto un stack and they basically slowly walk into the grinder and die

I think collision would be great for the game. The whole stacking thing just feeds into the burst meta by maximising engagement. The knockdown is hard to gauge as its not really the driving factor as MaA do not have follow up damage.

I feel like maa nerf is great cause the most annoying thing was, they simply charge you accidentally and you dead. Its just annoying. Dealing with them with units in gold era or even purple was totally fine

I see a lot of people complaining wuwei but honestly, I did not have much problems against them, the only times I had problems against them was when the enemies were already death balling, with a proper team formation the wuwei can be easily bursted before they can reach you, they are flanking units and if you or your team doesn't pay attention to flanks or wander aimlessly, that's not the problem of the unit. I see not much difference between wuwei and onnamusha, they are as strong as the enemy's let them be

Wuwei are mush stronger than Onna musha, there are very few things that's actually effective because of how well rounded they are. You would need an almost absolute advantage like range or damage because tankiness won't work.

@@bizon4129 ye they have counters. like 2-3? when normal units have like 10-15+ ? and i saw full reaper squad with best doctrines 1 shooted with wuwei spam combos. Its sick when unit with 235 leadership can masacre something (in theory) best to meele fight in 1-2 sek and don't loost at all almost.

I'm glad I switched from aggressive longsword to medium pike last week because I went be able to play aggressive as a long sword if they implement this patch

every game basically goes through power creep and yeah players love to optimise so much so time to kill continues to decrease. So its the fault of the players as much as the developers.

Yes, its strong in a sense with the basically unkillable level of defense and constant sustain when compared to other classes. I think its also to do with Clash of Shield 2 second extra duration from epic set which made it super annoying to deal with while remaining impactful with a supercharged ulti
