How many times do you usually have to help them eat until they start eating on their own?

Mine where born on mars 25th. Everyone except two did eat by themselves right away. One of the two started to eat after a few weeks. The last one didn't start eating by himself until last week, June 17th. So I guess it can vary, and for some it can take a long time!

@@JohanExoticGlobal oh okay thank you! I am facing a similar problem with one of my baby garters. It was born in april and has not eaten once. His brother eats like a horse though. Anyway tried this last night and he downed 2 pieces of fish with vitamins! Might just have saved my snake there so thank you.

Do you have any suggestions for if the snake resists and you can’t get their mouth open? I just tried this and eventually gave up. Do you think if I have the food in her cage she’ll eat eventually? She hasn’t eaten in a week, I’m worried she’s starving!
