Why do you have the heat detector mounted on the beam instead of the ceiling?

The ceiling has this plastic stuff on so we didn't want to damage it so the only option was to put it on there. it's still at hight so it should still work effectively.

@@ASSystems hold on if you have an aico heat detector and it was easy to install it why didn't you just install the smoke version of it around your house instead of the hochiki

no idea aha, I've since tested it a few times since this video cause I've been re-wiring the system. Been working fine every since then.
