Black Clover just finished this arc in the Manga. For some reason Shonen decided to shelf the Black Clover anime. The Manga sales arent the greatest, which is surprising for how well the anime did. There is a movie coming out and there is a possibility that the show comes back if the movie does good/great numbers. Shonen also announced in the last week that the mangaka Yuki Tabata, has been given a 3 month break to rest and prepare for the FINAL SAGA of the show. Currently at chapter 331, the manga will probably run another 2-3 years. Wellz, if you want to read another manga for your twitch stream, I suggest picking up from where black clover leaves off.

They stopped the anime so that they wouldn’t have to make that much filler. Which is way better than just making multiple filler arcs like anime like One Piece and Naruto do that just ruin the show.

The current arc is now finished in the manga so to me there should have been an announcement saying the show will pick up where it left off in the near future. Instead, Shonen says they are giving Tabata a break to rest up and finish the manga.

I personally think they should wait until the manga finishes before they bring it back because otherwise it will just catch up to the manga again and then they’ll either have to stop the show again or make filler.

It is true that it might affect the show if the movie doesn't do well but the only reason they canceled the anime was because it caught up with the manga. The best choice right now would be to bring the anime with seasonal breaks from now on. That way it gets better quality and won't catch up with the manga too quickly.

The anime stopped production because of how close it was and it was super close and Tabata doesn't like a lot filler. The movie is coming in 2023 for sure, the manga is on hiatus until at least late June or early July and the anime will probably come back late 2023 or early 2024 depending on the when the movie comes out.
