TECHNICALLY, when you let astarion bite you can die as long as you have a revive and its actually very funny the way he reacts i suggest people do it just to see what happens, i think you might get less dialoge or have to talk to him twice in camp but either way the humor is worth the death tbh

There were dialogue options you missed for the beginning of act 2; when you first meet Jaheira there’s a sarcastic option and then something about “here on holiday”

SPOILERS FOR ACT ONE: Exceptions to animal abuse I found were: Astarion likes it when you kick Timber the Squirrel (and likes it more when you make a sadistic comment about your quick reflexes) Astarion also likes it when you encourage the use of sharp rocks to hurt Halsin in his bear form and continues to like it when you choose to throw a rock at him

After the grove fight he said he wants to have fun but he said that he had standards and won’t meet up with me. Can I trigger that confession scene after meeting araj in act 2?

Astarion was neutral to me until I talked to him at the 'druid party' and got his first romance scene. I was playing the good route 'till that point. He never asked to bite me before but I let him do in the romance scene. Will I be able to romance him further or does he lose interest?

I chose to stay with Astarion during the party at the camp. After that, I had the conversation about his tattoo and promised to help him discover its meaning. But he didn't ask to bite me afterward, and I don't remember having had this dialogue before. Does letting him bite me randomly still have an effect?

If I didn't give the book and he told me he was a vampire. Didn't try to bite me at the camp. Can I still romance him? I'm still in Act One, I just saved the Grove.

Question; I'm at the Gauntlet of Shar, and when I went to camp, the conversation didn't trigger. His approval of me isn't that high because I made the wrong option at an earlier point and he disapproved it. Does his approval of you have to be at a certain level to trigger the scene?

in ACT 1 , with Lae’zel is in the cage , it doesn’t allow me to chose “say please” after persuading - do i still just persuade and then side with Lae`zel

If you kill the tieflings before getting her loose, then talk with Lae'zel, she'll say get me out - and then you can say "say please." And then shoot out the bottom of the cage to release her.

Yep the reply is right, the say please option doesn’t come up with the persuasion option. If you’ve missed that, the conversations you can have in the Druid’s grove and emerald grove have lots of opportunity for Astarion approval. Basically just go for whatever sounds mean lol

Mines bugged I'm running a modded playthrough on ps5 and I killed cazador did everything right in act 1 and 2 didn't let him ascend and when I long rest nothing happens what do I do?

Hello, I got a question. I just started the game, and was wondering when I should take my first long rest? I just got done in the ruins. Haven’t made it near the Grove yet where the battle starts. Since I bought the game I’ve been constantly reloading 😂 my first long rest before reloading, Astarion told me not to bother him. So I presume I don’t have enough approval yet?

Thank you for this video. Im a little confused though. I currently am in act 2 and have my relationship with astarion at very good. Is the person from act 1 that comes back Raphael? I already talked to him in order to progress astarions quest, but ive had multiple long rests since seeing Raphael and i never got the hug scene with astarion. In fact, ive had progressed my relationship with him a lot and rested a lot and yet i havent had a romantic cut scene with him since the camp celebration in act 1.

Question! If i go to the the ruins, do i just automatically attack them? Or has it changed? I automatically attacked them and it didnt say anything about Astarions Approval :(( Also during the barn, i didnt let him open the door, but i opened it myself afterwards and i immediately attacked. Do i still gain his approval?

You'd need to attack them in the dialogue options, you'd also need to open the barn in dialogue too, you should've gained approval there

Question: GOT SPOILERS I’m in act3 and I just killed kazador But for some reason he never invited me to grave and just thanked me ? Even tho his approval is at max. Is it by any chance because I haven’t had romance scene with him in other acts ?😞

It's possible they changed some romance scenes, but I'm not certain, but the grave scenes isn't mandatory for his romance thankfully

Yes but you’ll have to really go for his approval make sure to long rest appropriately and talk to him a lot.
