This part is fairly obscure lore. But to break it down; The Astartes are capturing/fighting an enslaver race of psykers. All the soldiers they kill are being psychically controlled by the orbs. Each orb is a powerful psyker. The spine-enemies are psyker controlled as well. The big body you see being constructed is just a big body the spheres wanted to use to control/conquer things as well. The Astartes are led by an inquisitor. This orb they face here is at least the second orb they encountered. I forgot the race of em. I dont know any books about em, and ive read 250 warhammer 40k books. Could be that I just missed em, but who knows. Anyway thats the gist of it. Oh yeah and eventually the orbs realise the astartes can resist their psychic powers. So they teleport them to some world with their psychic powers. Thats about it.

what is unclear here? A squad of Astartes has boarded an enemy ship to incapacitate the heretics and capture this orb. this is the second one. There are also 2 psykers on the ship who receive orders from orbs. In my opinion, the spheres are the MacGuffin. You should watch the original series. If you have, I admit it doesn't add much. The orb thing is most likely a xeno species lost to time, and very obscure. The yu'vath. Their civilization revolves around isolated individuals enslaving entire subsectors to their will. This particular specimen seems to have taken control of a small group of imperials, but it is not far fetched that it controls the entire world they are above. Well, that's one way to butcher the original Astartes video. This is not 4k. With the muddy transcoding, I'd be surprised if this was even 1440p. The original audio track has not been properly edited, so the music is still playing under the other music, and is completely out of key and time with it. This is also presumably why the overdub is so loud, and clipping horribly over all the nice SFX the original film has. Overall, a visually muddy cacophony that completely undercuts the skillful subtlety and tension of the original. I award you zero points, and may the emperor have mercy on your soul.
