Great video! I recently picked this up and checked it out because these are the weapons I fell into! Everyone talks about daggers, I mean, it's ability is pretty great, but I love the parrying of the spear and the space you can create with comboing into the staff attack is great early on when you don't have many options yet against big brutes!

If you want to eliminate all bosses and mobs less than a minute dagger is the best pick. All stats go to atk and the rest to hp. Thank me later

I definitely love Lightning Torrent since you can pulse it with a single button press for big long range damage for only 12 AP... the whole 3 second channel for the 55 AP is a lot ... however I've yet to see ANYTHING survive that hit (besides bosses) when I'm trying to gauge a new mob's HP pool safely.

The full channel is just taking too long. Tried to use it multiple time but always found other spells more useful, except for farming materials.

@@Mordarim That's why I use it on the mobs, especially if they don't know I'm there, and ALL clumped up... On a boss? If they slump over after they do a big attack for 3 seconds, you can bet I'm going to channel the whole thing while the DoT is on them.

Just finished the black streets. But there are some doors there I can’t open (missing key or opened from the other side) as well as some spots where the glimmer indicates there’s something there. Do I get to those later via other areas? Or should i go back and explore more. Also found a swamp below the granary. Went to bazaar tgough…

You can usually backtrack for some stuff later. Don't stress it! Each area gets an optional boss after a certain point in the story, exploring after that point is also fine!

I'm really enjoying the game, but my first PT was a speed run to get the finish as level 20 achievement. The video I followed skipped pretty much all chests, etc... I'm at the academy and still don't have the items to upgrade. Did you get all the trinkets/max weapons before finishing the game? I'm seriously considering restarting for the ingredients at this point.

I grinded at endgame to get all weapons and elements to max. A normal playthrough yields enough to get 2 weapons to max. Killing all optional bosses should also give you all special element drops for the enchantite.

man, where did you find the thunderbeast fur, scorching blood, Refined stardust,etc to upgrade the enchantites? iam at trinity night (mid difficulty) still couldn't find them anywhere.

There are a few additional bosses you can fight. One in each zone. In front of styx. In front of the barracks in the academy. Where you fought old whitebrow. Sewers (previously closed door) in the blackstreets. The not disappearing cultist where you get the ice enchantite. Breathless is found in the deeps by exploring past the zone boss. One boss is in the starting area where you can previously fight a fire boar. Another one is at the start of the swamp area. One can be triggered by talking to an npc where you had to best the challenge with minerva to reclaim her status. And the last one is found in the last zone by exploring a sidepath near the top.

It highly depends on the enemy and boss. I would say its about 50/50

The parry without the extended parry node is very hard to time right. Its just practise after getting it. You need to input it shortly before the strike would connect
