totally get the feeling you were talking about. I got the game with a 300I package before they even added the hanger module. Going from nothing, to being able to just stare at my ship to being able to fly it in arena to logging into port Ol for the first time. To where we are today, you can feel and see the work they put in...now having said that....i do wish that was like over the cross of 5 or 6 years of my life instead of a decade now....

Be interesting to see when crafting enters the PU how much of the materials that we would usually discard will be useful for construction, for particular structures, ships, armour and weapons.

However for balancing, the cargo looted from VHRT and ERT bounties would need to take a significant nerf to make sure the resource harvesting mechanic and gameplay loops are worth the time investment. At the moment stealing a working bounty ship with all its cargo is relatively easy and would be more favourable for quick resource accumulation especially. All it takes is small starter ship with a roomy cargo bay such titan, Kore using an X1 or pulse with ballistic gun on it….. 👀

I've given up on Star Citizen. I can't play since the last two updates. Both started with me freezing up and then never being able to retrieve my ships, I couldn't reach my hangar. First time I found someone to take me to another station after two days. Since then I tried once to ask for help... Well, nobody was available. Everyone was terribly busy. No problem. I'll play something else and watch your videos. Your voice is pleasantly soothing anyway. I always fall asleep to it. :)

I actually am going to speak up as someone who'd be happy to watch walking around/tram trips not sped up 😆 I'm still fairly new to Star Citizen and most of the appeal for me is how immersive it looks. Physically going to places, walking around the ships etc. is a huge part of that. I get it for quantum jump or flying through empty space and such but I'm happy watching just walking around footage still

Mining QoL has improved in the latest patch btw. Scanning is much faster, which is huuuge, and you can mine in nav mode.

I've done it all including the asteroid belt but lately I give up quick when nodes just don't fully render so they can be mined. Hope they fix the still bugged mining path. P.S. Owned my Prospector since they were first released back in 2016.

I started doing this when 2/3rds of the scanning for panels were roids. I'd be happier belt mining if I had a much larger capacity. But proclaimers tiny saddlebags suck compared to huge Vulture grid, non grid and on board storage.

Miss a lot of stuff. I remember the old days hunting for that one rock of quantanium, sometimes it took one hour, sometimes you were lucky and could immediately find a 40%+ rock and fill with 100% quantanium. Now they made it rare, made T1 material more profitable with the intention to create more variety, but in reality, T1 are super scarce, most rocks are either small, too big for a prospector, and the ones with good T1 percentage are too big. This gameplay is now incredibly frustrating and unenjoyable. Roc mining always gets broken with every single major patch, then it needs 2-3, sometimes more minor patches to go back to a playable state. Now with the removal of inventory from ships and this stupid cargo transfer system, it's painful to sell gems, which was already a not really profitable game loop, but at least it was relaxing and enjoyable. Now it's just pure torture.

How do you get your ATLS in your hanger without bringing it with?

Hangars are persistent, so if you leave it out, it stays out! (At that specific location)

I’m still waiting for them to properly physicalize raw ore. It’s a big annoyance to have to head straight to the refinery to drop the raw ore for refining, it would be better both as a solo player to dump the raw ore at the nearest station, and as a multi-ship crew to transfer the raw ore so someone else can transport it while you mine the next load.

Lol you should try unloading a Reclaimer manually take a very long time then I found you can open the back of the ship and just lob them out the back of it to the ground looks good a mountain of cargo in your hanger then use the atlas to stack much faster

Good video, but I hate mining since EVE Online. But mining got a LOT better, after I got a Russian auto-miner! It was so smart, it could avoid other ships, pause mining if things looked fishy, and if necessary, it could dock at a station and sit around for a preset time to become inactive. Mining, like hauling is beyond boring. Most freight hauler pilots suffered from depression. Keeping their mind off what keeps them depressed helps, kinda like Aspirin. I had a bunch of friends who hauled their life away. Me? I could sleep for the night and still have a pile of ore, do support my more interesting activities.

4.0 will come someday for SC. What a joke. They have been saying for years that it's coming the following year, like for the last five years, as 42 was to be out like seven years ago. Remember when they announced the game in 2012 and said it would be out in 2014? And every year, when it comes close to that time, they add another two years, lol. Fools love being milked. Only 5-star systems when they promised over 100, and the game was to be completed within 4-7 years from the start date, and it's been almost 13 years now and a billion dollars later.
