I'm getting sick of CIG forcing the artificial multiplayer BS on the larger ships... I want solo pilot control of all weapons and turrets...or at least some kind of way to obtain it by either by ranking achievements, mission accomplishments, or even being able to pay for it... This would translate to more large ships being bought by solo players who otherwise would not buy them with the multiplayer drawbacks... 💥

Content creators should boycott all CIG videos until the main game-breaking, decade-long bugs that have plagued the game are addressed and fixed finally, fully, and for good. I’d like a few more fire extinguishers. It’s a shame they can’t work out a fire suppression system, doesn’t have to be automated. Though I wonder if it’s possible to vent oxygen ? I only got one to walk around though I have taken it out solo and completed a bounty mission with the PDCs. Great video! Happy year of the pig!

I don't quite get the hype... it's too busy a design, while being too boring in some spots. The early alpha of capital ships, if any.

One thing to note is that you can't do hauling missions with polaris docking on a space station as there's no way to transfer cargo to the ship manually and the hauling cargo comms does not work

I was quite disappointed by the ship interior, to be honest. Look old compared to the zeus. Way too many doors 🤣 Interior lighting, texture quite bad. Medical bay that looks like a morgue Hangar repair functionalities ditched. I will wait for the next Anvil capital gunship

I liked the new style, although id love to for you to add insteaed of a walk through a quick view of each room and their title. That what if a ship has something like 5 or 13 rooms we can easily see the difference and know what is really in the ship

In your other video about the cargo bay, you showed a tractor beam, I just got this ship last week, and can't find the tractor beam control

Unfortunate, the new patch has degraded to such an unplayable state for so many in the community. No matter the ship sales or new ship added over the last couple months, so many can't even use them. For the first time in its history, CIG has stopped a free fly from being implemented. Reading the post from CIG, they have (in my opinion) done the right thing and stepped up to own what is going on with the current build. Stating that every aspect at every level of the patch is, in major ways, broken.

Separating the review and the tour is a good idea.

I prefer to have it all in one long video but you can make chapters and say to skip to this section for the review. However, I also understand 2 videos as it helps with viewer retention and can get you more (well deserved) views.

I like the short videos ❤but the Polaris is quite underwhelming in the current game. And when more ships will get PDC Systems it will get even worse. The Polaris is the most modern corvette in the uee, the tip of the spear against bigger opponents but ingame your main weapon is kinda useless against another Polaris not to mention an Idris. And you have only one turret which can deal a minimum amount of damage. And we don’t have armor yet. As long as the torpedo gameplay is as pathetic as it is at the moment the ship will disappear once we can buy other capitals and have access to more/all ships via uec. Why not make them faster, harder to detect or even manual guided. This way the separate torpedo station would make some sense at least

Having little to no internal signage is actually a good thing, defensively. It means any enemies boarding the ship to take it from you, have trouble working out where to go, offering you time to either take it back, or set the self destruct and get off.

She is my Baby. I can solo her with both the Fortune, and Prospector (with some janck due to saddle bags) for industrial gameplay. Then can crew up with my Org during the rare occasions that we all decide to suffer through the classic SC bugs. Bunker Runner with vehicles in the Cargo Bay(Cyclone with a 1SCU box loaded in the back) Very versatile and accommodating.

I ripped the torps off of mine. I find them to be terribly useless in most players hands (including my own lol.)

I waited so long for my polaris, ended up being disappointed with its fire power. I've moved on to the perseus chain now. Good review as always

I think my only complaint about the Polaris' movement is that it's too nimble when taking off. I expected it to feel more like a Caterpillar but it just gets off the ground with too little effort.

Today we tried again to do Missions in a Polaris with a Crew of 5 Players. Again, the 3rd time in series in which we tried in the Last 3 days, we ended Up in an explosion after a ramming Attack of another Player in a Sabre oder firebird. It is easy to one Shot by a Player in medbed dress and therefore Just useless for group Play and multicrew. Play it solo, then you just geht frustrated and you spare your friends with the negative experience. If you want group play just bring Hornets...

Got for my Polaris for $235 using CCUs. It doesn't have to be expensive if you have the patience to play the CCU game.

A solo players dream if you wana just stay out in space for months at a time, oh yeah i forgot thats impossible with all the bugs, its worse than ever atm but fingers crossed it get playable, not exactly the space SIM it was advertised to be when i started in October 2024, its more like Fortnite but in space, i was hoping for the full space travel and hardships experience but hey, im still really happy with it, i do think quantum travel has ruined the exploration gameplay tho

Now that PDC's are fixed its become quite the bully towards small npc ships, as well as the odd eclipse. A Tali will overwhelm the PDC's though. One thing to mention, the Fortune salvager is like a match made in heaven for the Polaris. You can fit two in the hangar, and if you are solo, you can quickly unload and toss the RMC boxes down the cargo elevators from the safety of the hangar, then use the tractor beam to quickly store everything. It's such a versatile ship. It's only real downfall are the bugs. It's hard to do any sort of long-term ship living without something going wrong.

How do you get this ship? Real money purchasing only?

I feel splitting makes more sense. I find it easier to watch short-form videos rather than not having the time for a single long-form, personally.

Would love to see missions like the 890 or Reclaimer boarding missions but with more ships like the Polaris. Boarding an enemy Polaris to wipe it out from the inside in the orange clouds of Pyro sounds surreal
