I was born with lung asthma and I've been dealing and struggling with it ever since then. It really sucks especially when there's an asthma attack in the middle of the night, trying to wake up from your sleep because I'm barely catching my breathe. Getting anxious when you go out and you find out that you left your inhaler at home is definitely one of the worse thing that can happen. Good thing when I started working and earning I finally got a chance to go visit a regular pulmonary doctor and been taking my medicines to control my asthma. But usually my asthma triggers due to extreme hot & cold places dust/pollens, and, exhaustion, and so on. Having asthma really sucks.

Caution... Asthma does not 'go away' as you grow. ... what does happen is your airways grow as the rest of your body does, and the reaction of constriction may be less noticeable.... another thing is that what ever 'trigger' was around when you were younger may not be present daily now.... environmental causes are unlimited and generally unknown, so you may not be able to identify what it was. All this to say, you should still carry Albuterol with you.... that 'Tightness' is probably constriction in your airways, and just because it's not shutting you down completely doesn't mean it's not there... treat it!

I get asthma attacks once or twice at least every after 5 to 6 months, that could last from 5 to 7 days. It usually starts from July to August. So from June, I get very paranoid, I avoid all the things that could trigger my asthma. I avoid social interactions because a common cold could lead to my death. People starts to say that I'm doing too much but I always tell them they could never understand how much of a horror it is when asthma attacks. For them, 'asthma' is too easy to hear but it's definitely not. The sleepless nights, the short and painful breaths, the painful coughs, the vomiting, loss of appetite, weight loss. It's just pure nightmare!! Gosh, there were times when I wished that I could just not wake up the next morning if it means that my asthma would finally stop.

00modpod Same! I was at my cousins house and they live in an apparent, and my cousin wanted me to walk around the building with him. I didn’t grab my inhaler because I didn’t think I needed it. (We were walking in the back with the dirt and stuff.) and we’ve been walking for like 3-4 minutes and my asthma started to act up. I told him I needed to go back inside because I needed my inhaler, so he said we were going to go inside but they had to unlock the door (either my mom, my auntie, or my other cousin) but they didn’t open the back door so we had to walk all the way to the front, up a few stairs, walk to the room then I got my inhaler. I kinda felt bad because my mom looked very worried

No, not true. Asthma is caused by the ASCARIS parasite and you can kill it with a zapper at 408khz. Everyone will tell you that this is a quack story, but I tried it and after 12 days I was cured from extreme life threatening asthma. Believe me. true story!
@vortor27283 жыл бұрын
@@swingwizard Before you get people’s hopes up about curing their asthma, get your facts straight. ASCARIS parasite can cause asthmatic episodes but not all people diagnosed with asthma have it. In fact, there is such a low amount of people with asthma caused by ASCARIS that they don’t even test you for it when diagnosed with asthma. And also, a f***ing “zapper” at whatever kilohertz is not going to cure your asthma and is just going to damage more parts of your body instead. You need to take antigen to cure it. Idk if you’re some troll or something but you can get somebody killed telling them this. Delete your comment.

But apart from medication, daily for about 10 minutes I do ' "Anulom-Vilom" Pranayam Yoga '. It really helped me. There is no attack since. Please do this yoga along with the meditation (inhaler) provided by your doctor.

I have asthma, and trust me, it’s horrible. The feeling of waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to breath, the constant wheezing and having to use an inhaler, not being able to have a lot of physical exercise without almost passing out from lack of oxygen... it really is bad. One time I was just having a normal day, getting in the bus after school, and I have a full blown asthma attack. I can hardly break, nearly passing out, but there was nothing I could do till I got off the bus, which was about 20 min. At that time I was not really able to talk[from lack of air]. My mother rushed me to the hospital, and they had to give me a ton of doses of a nebulizer, and after a half hour I was ok, but it was still terrifying. Imagine being on the highest mountain, where there is almost no air. That is what it is to have asthma, at least for me.

I've been diagnosed with Asthma recently, I'm 32 years old. I didn't know my triggers and I'm still learning. My triggers are most of the time food and stress. Before when I had a stressful situation I would feel like a heaviness in my chest, I assumed it was only stress, and then it went away, then after my diagnosis I figured that, those feelings from before were small asthma attacks. I'm still traying to control it. I have a dog and carpet on my room, which I cant remove because, this apartment is rented and I live close to the ocean...so there is a lot of humidity here. Hope that I can control my symptoms with diet, but even so I have the feeling that I might have to move out at some poin.

I don't have severe asthma but I have the symptoms and I use a inhaler. At night, the asthma gets worse and worse but the inhaler somehow saves me. I haven't been admitted to a hospital but I have been diagnosed with allergic asthma. When I play sports or exercise or even do a little bit of effort I can't breathe and have to use a inhaler. Laughter also triggers some kind of coughing attack. I'm currently not using any kind of medication. 2 months ago, I took Clarithromycin or Klaricid that helped me a little bit. But after taking that medication, the asthma got worse and worse and the medicine didn't work. So, I had to quit taking that medicine.
