Cheers; thanks for the feedback. It is a very useful device for bringing some tonal stability and room/source control when tracking. Since I returned it my vocal recordings are a bit more hit and miss - takes longer to find sweet spot. Best :D

Sounds much better without it! No matter how "hi-tech" and patented the material, there's little benefit to essentially putting a bowl around one's mic. Much wise to either treat one's room a bit, or go somewhere better to record. No has ever said "you HAVE to record this performance in your dorm room" or whatever. And if the user isn't a musician but rather a KZbinr or podcaster, they'd need the ability to see their notes and not have a huge filter in view.
