Newport Pagnell is not the original home of the brand, it started in Feltham in Middlesex in 1947 and was moved to Newport Pagnell in 1954

I don't think even Ferrari made a road car as beautiful as this one. Of course, thoughts of what is beautiful is entirely subjective, but, the DB4 GT Zagato is bite the back of your hand gorgeous. I suppose the £6 million price tag could be considered a bargain as you would never get an original one that cheap, or a second car into the bargain!

Was such a rare treat and incredible timing too! Really didn’t know Aston had planned this visit for me too - was just there to test drive some new models. I just love the fact that these ‘continuation’ models are reintroducing the lost art of coach building - it’s such a romantic idea in a time of machines and expediency! Beautiful machine

Such a lucky guy and congratulations on a very good short video. You must've felt like a kid in a sweet shop there? 😊 I think if I were ever that rich, I'd use the DBS Zagato as my daily, and my DB4 GT Zagato would only come out very occasionally and for me to ogle at whenever I want to smile or feel cheered up! 😂

Continuation is a fake DB4, would be totally worthless to me.

Of course its not an original but it is built in the same way as the original was - by hand - that's why its called a Continuation. Spend time in the factory, with the people and the car and you appreciate the spirit certainly lives on...the modern influences don't alter the core of the original but improve the issues that existed, especially with the engine.

@@MariusRobertsProductions this is one of those times you assume my experience with the car. I spent my entire life with an original DB4GT just just been sold so I would say I have the experience here sir.

@@jamespicking1140 That’s awesome - what a wonderful and truly rare privilege! At no point was this review or I would assume the entire project, was it about comparing it to the original but rather about honouring the original and ensuring the legacy lives on! Projects like this I believe are crucial in the modern mechanized time we live in, keeping those old coach building skill sets alive. So perhaps look at these projects from that perspective...sure you would rather be driving in Continuations than EV’s

@@MariusRobertsProductions I apologize for being defensive, but yes my father has owned one since the late 60s. It was originally purchased by Gilby Engineering and belonged to Syd Green. Unfortunately my father passed away last year and because we have such a disgusting greedy government keeping the car was not an option. My dad put so much the and money into restoration. If money was no object I would buy the car back tomorrow! 😔
