I remember back in 1964 the original James Bond DB5 came to Nottingham and was on display in Truman's showroom on Huntingdon Street. I was 16/17 and went along with my camera. There was also a very nice model in a gold lame cat suit whom I took some photos of. I was also allowed to have a sit in the car. Happy memories.

This has to be the coolest and most beautiful car ever made, I really do think that more car companies need to modernize the old classics like this, surely this experience makes you want to add a vintage or a classic car to the shmeemobiles! Saw one of the versions used in the Bond films at a fair years ago here in the States. All the gadgets were present: tire slashers, ejector seat, battering ram, front-facing machine guns, etc; a remote-control to presumably activate those things was there for demo purposes, I believe. I would be perfectly happy with a stock DB5, sans gadgetry.
