The 2024 Aston Martin Vantage supercar is out to make a statement, one which flies in the face of the increasingly electrified automotive world: a revised 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V8 engine with a lot more grunt than its predecessor.
Needless to say, the Vantage coupe's midlife facelift is significant, with peak power up an astonishing 30 per cent, from 375kW to 489kW, while maximum torque has climbed by 15 per cent, from 685Nm to 800Nm. In other words, this heavily updated Mercedes-AMG GT rival is all about the big numbers.
But as CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Andrew Chesterton finds out in this expert review, there's a lot more to the new Vantage than the changes under its bonnet, as it also ushers in a major exterior styling tweaks. However, perhaps the biggest changes are reserved for the interior, which finally debuts a much needed contemporary multimedia setup.
