Aston Martin Vantage full in-depth review and specs, on track and road | Autocar

With 656bhp rather than the 503bhp of its predecessor, the latest Aston Martin Vantage has moved on to a new performance plane.
It was a serious sports car before but the comprehensive overhaul has, as with the DB12 we were so impressed by recently, significantly shifted its capabilities. Its price too: this is a £165,000 before options.
Along with 656bhp at 6000rpm it makes 590lb ft at 2000-5000rpm. It drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and weighs (dry) 1605kg.
Performance is strong, with a 0-62mph time of 3.4sec and a top speed of 202mph. It'll return 23.3mpg and emits 274g/km of CO2.

Very sad, Autocar has such good journalists working to high standards but I can barely understand what is being said. Such a waste of talent. Might I suggest that you set higher standards for production. As my old teacher would have said "this is not good enough".

Have had to give up with this review due to the appalling sound quality. Fortunately I have the Autocar magazine subscription I can read. I find it rather strange considering nearly every comment has complained about the sound that there has been no response from Autocar. Hopefully Harry will do a review soon.

The dreadfully inadequate Audio, and the consistently stupefyingly soporific somnambulism over many "Prior" years of the said Reviewer in the video and many preceding it, account for the woeful number of views.....they know he is good at writing and editing, but yet with unerring and willfully ignorant consistency, have him in front of a camera instead of behind a desk....get Andrew Frankel or anyone..else...no shortage of brilliant auto journalists in the UK with knowledge, personality, charisma and eloquent speaking skills, not mumblers....Time for Autocar to make a change....horrible tech as well, audio fixes don't take Einsteinian expertise, but definitely require competent crew, quality control and reliable equipment....please don't lose your audience altogether....🙁
