I feel like mentally I need a few days to move on from last night, im just hoping the players are more focused than I am. I'm sure Unai will have started his debrief, meetings etc on the plane home. I just really hope as fans we can play our part, really REALLY get behind these fantastic lads and push them that extra yard. They might need us more than ever for these last few games. I really think Duran is showing signs of maturing a bit as a player and think he is worth a start in this game. He was actually playing quite deep at times against Lille and gave a bit of steel in there… Also up for giving Tim a start to allow McGuinn to play further up.

I know they’ll be knackered and Bournemouth are a great side who should not be underestimated, but this gave me a lot more confidence. I honestly would not blame them for dropping points but it’s still a very very important three points if we get it. Agree with Luke on Tielemens...hes come on leaps and bounds (not that he was far off it). Hes so calm and composed - love watching him play I wouldnt play Diaby but Duran instead. His energy is infectious and means we can go more direct and he always has a goal in him. And a curveball for Bournemouth

You've highlighted Emi's great loyalty to Villa, his desire to stay at the Villa, and that we have more players that love the club too. That is so important! Arsenal don't really have that comraderie, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, United, Brighton etc all struggle with that, City have it, although not as much as last season. Villa need to work on that, need to keep our club as a preferred destination because of our incredible culture! Our most successful teams in the past have been full of players that love the Villa! Think about the likes of Sir Dennis and Paul McGrath! Love, love, love the Villa! Martinez, Watkins, McGinn, Cash, the list goes on! UTV!

As for Bournemouth, while I'm sure adrenaline remains high after Lille, I think some rotation of players has to take place at home, as Justin said. Don't let overplaying players- which can result in injury at the end of seasons- FORCE a rotation.
