I was stationed at Plattsburgh AFB NY on the shores of Lake Champlain. With the right wind/storm conditions, I always thought the lake was surfable. I've been caught in a storm out on the lake in a little metal skiff. A bit hairy! I like that you showed asking permission for access to the lake. Sets a good example for younger surfers, letting them know that if you're polite and ask permission, many private access spots may become available to them. Plus it gives surfers a good image. For the Dream!!!

Still searching for the quadruple like button. Love it. As much as the surfing bit, I like the part when you're on the ferry and checking the swell. Only a surfer would get that because we all do it. Keep it up Benjamin!

Ben! You make me watching a ankle high surf video! Your stoke, the music and everything is epic!! What you experienced here is a windsurfers normal life, storm is forecasted, and you expect storm, you get a breeze… The rule is: if you don’t go, you don‘t know!! I wish you have more luck the next time!!

Love seeing you in my home state of Vermont! Having lived on both Lake Superior and Lake Champlain I can vouch that lake waves become massive, especially during the fall. There’s always some dude trying to kite board or windsurf..easier said than done. They are not gentle rollers..but more like a washing machine. Keep coming back for the dream! PS.. have also seen 6 footers come up over the wall at Oakledge park during a storm which I have documented..so it’s not unheard of.

I found out way back in the day about the scene around the Great Lakes, so when I 1st saw Champlain, I wondered if they got waves, but I never found any videos. I did find video of people surfing Tahoe though. I just wanted to say that this made my day! Anytime I see a body of water, my mind goes straight to what kind of waves can this water put up.🤙

I told the WNDWs folks we damn near cause car accidents looking for the pinapple on I 89!
