That’s literally all nonsense and libel. She was married three times and none of them were for money except maybe to Astor but that was at his behest. The first marriage her husband was an abusive man. The second husband was her soulmate but died prematurely. And her marriage to Astor was at HIS behest. If he was possibly going to go to jail at 85;, Brooke must have been in danger, not just in a situation where "appearances aren't being kept up." and the nurses were very upset. This would not have become a criminal trial unless the grandsons allowed that to happen. they could have dropped the charges and just worked to remove Tony as guardian. Wasn't there a directive in the trust about removal of guardianship? The problem is generational --- Brooke didn't know how to raise a child, and then neither did Tony.

Her second marriage lasted twenty years until her husband's death, and by all accounts it was a true love match. They got along well and there were no angry family problems. A gold digger is someone who seeks out men and uses them for money. Brooke didn't seek out Vincent Astor. Vincent's wife at the time wanted a divorce but he would not agree to it unless she found him a replacement wife. It was Minnie Cushing Astor who fixed him up with Brooke, not Brooke herself.
