ive currently got a ep3 type r but this car is something else. i love the sound. looking to buy one soon anything to look out for apart from gearbox wear and oil leaks?

5k should see you a fairly decent one. Main things are smoky turbo’s, oil leaks, gearboxes (check for whining from the passenger side, movement on the gearstick when letting the clutch out and movement in 5th when cruising coming on and off the throttle) Check it’s had it’s cam belt and water pump done, decent service history. Other than that it’s the usual car stuff, decent tyres and a clean car usually the sign of good ownership. Careful though, as with EP3s there’s some dogs around. I have to say though, an EP3 and the K20 is probably going to give you a lot less grief!!!

It effectively a Stage 3.5 set up. Remus Turbo Back, Forge Front Mount Intercooler, direct route pipe and AEM cone and a Klassen Inlet Manifold with map to suit. can do a full feature video for the channel if that's something of interest for people?
