Thank you for the information Dr. Matt, I'm taking astragalus to go along with bodybuilding and the diet/supplements that go along with it, I believe it also helps you live longer because it slows the death of something at the cellular level. Very much in favor of Eastern medicine/healing, I take nothing pharmaceutical if possible.

⁠​⁠What if you have a low blood pressure. Would taking Astragalus be unsafe and dangerous for someone who has a low blood pressure?? I read that Astragalus in fact lowers the blood pressure. Please help me

I would only avoid it if you are on Blood pressure (BP) medications. I also have low BP and take astragalus daily and it hasn't lowered my BP further and it is not contraindicated for people with low BP. It will only be an issue if you are on BP lowering medications.

Hello good sir. I have a rare autoimmune disease and my kidneys are also affected. Would it be smart to take it? Not quite sure since you said that it will boost the immune system.. Great question Shawn. It will depend on which vaccine you had. I would probably not take Astragalus for 3 days before and 7 days after having the vaccine.

@@KidneyCoach Caring so much about the kidneys, how and why would you even suggest it is so safe and "chi" promoting when there are inflammatory fibrinogens that are clot causing that actually potentially (for many, actually) restrict blood flow via clots and immune response. I'd be careful to advise on this.
