Ive been making astragalus root decoction for myself and my family while we've had a cold and we've been sick for weeks now ! Interesting what TCM says about not taking it while sick because it keeps the sickness in. I won't be drinking anymore astragalus until we're all fully better now.

I take a little of it in powder form each day. I have the dried root which I add to my elderberry syrup decoction. I'll have to make a small infusion and have a taste. Your presentation was enjoyable and enticing 😊😊

@@zachp419 I'd definitely say a sweet and woody flavor. I wouldn't really say I've ever tasted peanut shells, but I could see that being that case. Next time I make an astragalus decoction I'll definitely see if I pick that up! ~Mason

I’m currently working on spleen qi deficiency and damp heat in the lower jiao! Job’s tears has porridge has been amazing! And the book healing with Whole Foods so far. What got you interested in astragulus, I’m curious!
