Astrageldon Death Nohit | Catalyst Mod

The slimey infected singularity, Astrageldon. Not your ordinary slime, however. Told to have consumed many universes in it's wake. With it's ability to bend space and gravity itself, it's density and power is equivalent to to millions and millions of galaxies. It also can transform into a singularity, made of astral blight itself. The Jungle Tyrant sent his mightiest army of soldiers to search for the slime, hoping to reason with the slime and harness it's power (much like he did with the cosmic Serpent). You can't reason with an everlasting hunger with the power of a black hole itself, however. The army searched through the rips of space and time the cosmic Serpent left behind, only to be immediately crushed due to the density of the dimension. The Tyrant quickly gave up, but when a search ends, a new one rises. As the terrarian was growing in power themselves, Astrageldon stumbled upon this universe attempting to consume the astral infection to consume it and gain it's power. If it had achieved this along with consuming the astral blight, it would be an unstoppable force to behold. But it's hunger got to the best of it, the terrarian managed to save it's universe and stop Astrageldon. However, even if it was not defeated, everything (especially with the power it was storing in it's singularity) eventually dies out... Leaving both it's energy and legacy behind... Amazing video and the intro especially! You deserve a rest after this, our old friend is a bit of a challenge.

hovewer, terraria's code is so messed up, that to expand its graphics and gameplay even more it should be fully rewritten. nice example of such code is tf2 where deleting a single texture of coconut can break the game

Multiverse travel?! Calamity lore gets more complex and involved by the day! I'm very glad you nohit this fan boss, I thought the hype had died down by now and such a thing wouldn't happen! This boss fight seems extremely difficult, in no small part because of how distracting the stunning visuals are! You are truly one of the best players. Awesome video as always, and I especially loved the intro, and how smooth the music transition from phase 1 to 2 was.

I love this boss and it’s concept even though I’m so bad at it. This isn’t your normal run of the mill boss, it’s a superboss. It’s harder than any other boss of it’s tier. If it was post- Moon Lord, that would kind of be ruined.

The hardest part of the entire arena was making it to where astrageldon PERFECTLY fits on the pedistoll thing that has the relic, lol. (fun fact about one of the attacks) if you get hit by the crosing thing where astrageldon dashes at you in its meator form three times, you EXPLODE.

Pretty sad to know that my favorite boss in all of Calamity's life is pretty much on a timer... Not only this is an amazing fight, but the drops are revelant and useful, the accessory allows you to quickly get to places, the dye looks cool, the hook is literally the best one in the whole game, metanova armor is the greatest armor you can get at that stage of the game and is used to craft the second best one... I don't know about The Scythe of the Abandoned God as I didn't know it existed until I defeated SCal lol. I've heard it's useful even against DoG

@@sylvie6327 Because whenever there's too much matter in one place, it has to go somewhere, so the black hole will explode with a devastating blow. Astrageldon is beyond supermassive, it doesn't consist just of a few blackholes, it has consumed multiple universes and confined them into itself... Meaning that if the player doesn't destroy it safely, it will unleash an explosion that you cannot do anything about. We can see it when it dies. Astrageldon retracts the universe it uses as the myst in the fight and safely explodes, somehow. It also recieves the highest ammount of damage in the whole game, capable of oneshotting everything
