Strike is over but now the voicelines have to catch up, it's all done in advance edit: I misspoke, what I mean is that an agreement was reached so hsr is no longer affected by the strike, but the voices still have to catch up over time

Technically, it affected all EN studios. Most directors under EN studios were forced to comply to the union’s demands and only the studios who signed the AI contract resumed voice acting with their voice actors. Formosa just happened to be one of the major EN companies most of the voice actors were working under that finally signed the contract.

The strike is over for our vas because Hoyo dropped Formosa, the only reason they are missing now is moving them has taken time and there were delays in recording. Do the event and save the story for when you can hear your favorite characters. I refuse to play till Nic is back as Dan Heng.

EN va is a joke atp 😭. i used to love hearing english voices but id rather not have to deal with muted characters all the time. as someone who lives outside of america, it's kinda messed up that we also have to deal with this sh*t when it's the usa who always has countless problems (this is why the usa should probably not have as much influence anymore but they invest everything in their military so what can we even do 🤦‍♀️)

Lol what? The other countries are quite frankly LATE to implement this as well. The USA was the first to actually take action against AI because of it’s recent rise in technological advancement. The only reason the east can get away with not having specific laws against AI is because their VA industry is much more robust(similar to the AI music vs Western music industries) and companies don’t hesitate to sue for negligence and plagiarism which AI falls under generally speaking(same in the west but thats a different story) but the western VA industry has never been that prominent comparatively so the threat of taking over jobs for EN voice actors is much more important.
