Astro Bot - Great Master Challenge Walkthrough (Step by Step Guide)

The thing that annoys me with this game is how simple it is in the main game, then the difficulty spikes to ridiculous levels with these sub levels. People who say this is a kids game have not played the sub levels. I got so annoyed with some of them that I took a week away from playing the game and have just come back to it today. Done the five levels I needed to complete in the last two galaxies and now just got this to complete. I think what annoys me most though is unless you watch a video like this you are never going to do it in your first run as you have no idea what is coming up next and only find out after you have failed.

It took me a while to complete the levels, some were easy than others and some were harder. But they are all doable just need to keep at it and persevere with it

Would say the duck one and the to the beat ones were harder but this one is killing me. Last trophy I need. Probably just me but nothing is consistent. Cam do the exact same run with the exact same timing and if off by a millimetre or millisecond I screw it up and any point past the glass floor tower. Been at it for hours

I fucking hate this level, splashing sprint, and to the beat levels. They all involve RNG for certain parts of the level (the spinny guy, rotating/moving platforms). Sometimes the character doesn't jump as high or isn't as fast as it was the previous run. On Splashing Sprint the water coming out of the duck doesn't always get the area in front of you. In To The Beat level there is no "beat" to jump or platform to. The music doesn't match anything with the map. And this master challenge level I either get stuck at the spinny guy near the end. I run into his mace or chain half the time. You can't hit the spinny guy twice in a row fast enough because the game is designed that way. I usually can't jump far enough to laser him. If I do make it to the rocket birds I can never time my jumps. I either jump too early or too late. Since there is no checkpoint system, which I understand is part of the difficulty, I can't practice timing my jumps either.

For the second half of the Bells, I try to trigger the birds attack when the bells start rising. Makes sure i wont get hit while pulling. Also it might be helpful to pick a side on the X Bird part. Stay to the side of the first, the middle of second, and repeat as needed. Thank you for the vid. Would still be crying if not for you

Ok. I give up. How the hell are you single jumping (without boost) those birds at the end? Every time i try this, i get hit. I absolutely cannot time these right and it makes this level infuriating!!

Press X and don’t hold for normal jump, be confident with it though

Yeah I was stuck on him for a while, you’ve got to wait for the right time to move. Timing is everything, literally as he’s swung past you, then go straight away jump over him and hold X

these challenges are cool but my god, some of them are a real pain (looking at you rubber duck one). Also, mt other half managed to beat this master challenge FIRST TRY - recorded it, after he managed to do so, got the clip of him getting the master one unlocked then yeah, he tried it and did it in 1 go...

Personally don’t think it is, but it’s easy to get stuck on it for a while. Can get annoying fast, I think it’s longer than the other ones and there’s more to do, that’s why in the video I say take a breather when you can because you can end up rushing it
