Artist always say they want to be bigger than Tupac or Biggie. Even Jay Z nor Nas won't reach that pinnacle because Tupac and Biggie started a, " movement. " One that redefined rap/hiphop music. A poet against someone who was a savant at flowing with a beat. Astro is gifted at word play and I would consider him a lyricist, but in order to trump the leaders who started the movement. You have to redesign the genre. Which is very hard to do. Soulja Boy started this new era internet music movement. Which has led to poor lyrics and artist only wanting money rather than pushing the culture into new heights.
