Lyrics are fire like always from Astro, but for real he might have the best flow since Biggie. The way he links words and phrases together is unmatched since the B.I.G. kid can flow for sure. If only he was born in the 80s...

"when rappers and their girlfriends share clothes" fire!! transition on point
@eeilihackshaw6146
@eeilihackshaw6146 9 жыл бұрын
Even though the underlying tempos are similar, most rappers get thrown off in the transitions because of the elemental changes (instruments, syncopation etc) between beats. Astro is the only emcee I've heard that never breaks his flow across all five beats. Smooth as fuck.
@eeilihackshaw6146
@eeilihackshaw6146 9 жыл бұрын
He doesn't get distracted by the "frills" in the beat at all, he finds the tempo right away and keeps going. That focus is impressive.
@chickennoodlesoup901
@chickennoodlesoup901 9 жыл бұрын
if you dont break flow in between beats then that just means you aren't even paying attention to the tempo and you're just throwing a verse over the same beat...
@eternalglow6483
@eternalglow6483 9 жыл бұрын
He's probably practiced enough to where he can spit almost any verse to any beat and make it smooth. I used to practice that
@eeilihackshaw6146
@eeilihackshaw6146 9 жыл бұрын
Astro is a student of Hip Hop so he probably knows all those beats already and has practiced his flow on them as Indigo says. Probably why he goes so hard on Black Rob's "Whoa," it was a popular song so he probably spent a lot of time spittin' over that beat.
@KyleRyanFilm

this comment is meant for people that say that he flows boring and I have seen some comments that the beats on his record are boring.....I want yall to understand that when you create music you have to create a formula to highlight your talent..for example , if you listen to a rap track most of the time you focus on 3 things...BEAT/BARS/FLOW for example lets say 33% on the beat 33% on the bars and 33% on the flow. but if the artist a lyrical dude , he want to highlight his bars for the listeners , so what some of these people do is use a ''boring'' beat, and a ''boring'' or ''basic'' flow ,because that way the 66% focus you usually have for the beat and the flow are now going to the bars.
@FreestyleEntOnline
@FreestyleEntOnline 9 жыл бұрын
I my case when listening to rap... I focus 45% on the Beat and 45% on the Flow and 10% on the Bars....the only time I really focus on bars is I check/listen to battle rap , which im addicted to LMAO...

BTW, I haven't heard anyone rhyme thoroughly for 300+ seconds with relevance w/o murking the whole territory & trying to bone other dudes chicks by flashing debt notes & european alcohol in their faces. ***** no shit, freestyle means w/o format a.k.a. no hooks, different hooks, extended verses or whatever. Its freestyle. Off the top is different, but remembering different verses and pasting them together on the fly counts just the same to me as making it all up as you go along. Cuz when it all adds up lyrically and sounds good, who cares what parts are written or rehearsed. Does wack rhymes get extra credit if they weren't thought of ahead of time?
