Now, don’t get me wrong, I really like this light and actually have one myself in neutral white. But the numbers Astrolux gave us are way off. This light have a max output of 2100 lumens and 410kcd. That’s still 1280m but just so you know. I got mine for 78$. Basically a steal. Awesome light.

ive bought 2 lights that you have recommend, the imalent dn35, and the astrolux mf01 and you haven't steered me wrong yet. I love both. fun factor. good clean fun. i laughed my ass off around 12min 30 sec when you said ...so what the hell is the point of light like this? lol. would you say this is the furthest thrower you've delt with ? would you maybe go a different light , dn70, or maybe the new hyped up haikalite thower? thanks for any help.

no reason to use high drain cells as there is 4 of them used in parallel to spread the load

Also the high drain batteries are just a suggestion. This light does not require them. I use mine with Panasonics 3400mah and can still hit the 2100 lumen mark.
