The only problem I have is the actual decision that changed the loop. Previous loops had encounters with loops before which apparently resulted in the same outcome every single time. Why would this loop be any different? Previous Moiras would also have pointed the gun at Jacob with Cole trying to talk her down from pulling the trigger. And why would she not do what millions of her previous versions did? For me, such closed time loops become deterministic from which there is no escape and every decision you make in an attempt to break the loop just reinforces it.. So ending aside, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just a hint on how to get out of the time loop... At the beginning, Cole went to the other future ship, right? So, why they don't make a movie telling the otherselves what happened and how they should collaborate among each other instead of their stupidity of dying each person after the other one.
@Sejen779 ай бұрын
The only way to transmit data through the loop to the start would be to leave it on the current ship until it jumps to the start and collides with the version already there. I suppose they could all pile into the escape pods in an orderly fashion. Thought: Would this result in a constant stream of escape pods if a recorded message was left (and believed) each time?

Because their knowledge gets reset each loop? Each time they loop it's the first time for them. They only know somethings wrong when their visitor knocks on the door and tells them.
@thereviewer65179 ай бұрын
@@Sejen77But the problem here is that the environment does not get reset here in the time loop. This time loop is not following the law of conservation of mass and energy for some reason. That region is leaving behind "Debris" from each timeloop cycle which should not happen technically. So the addition of additional debris in each cycle should have enhanced the thought process or decision making process of the crew in each cycle before their impending demise. I am surprised they couldnt figure it out even after "millions" of timeloops. Also I dont think this is a true time loop. A true time loop would not cause duplication and would be restricted to a certain region around that planet. The Atropa ship and its crew got stuck in the time loop so if the ship is on loop where is a duplicate "Cole" arriving from?
@Sejen779 ай бұрын
@@thereviewer6517 I think I understand your last comment there. It is either, a continious time loop bubble spitting out escape pods (into normal time) to create a ring. (uhhh... I think that violates some science thing about mass?) Or the ship is genuinly jumping back in time (to before Cole gets within range of... events?) thus allowing Cole's rescue of the only survivor? We can't have both...

Because the explosion shot all the debris out into the other direction, never to be seen again.
@kollba66709 ай бұрын
@@annwithaplan9766Never to be seen again ? I don't think so. Millions of explosions happened at the same location in the same millisecond. There should be an expanding sphere of debris surrounding the spaceship. The guy arriving in his own ship should not be able to get through it. And besides that... Millions of identical pieces of debris could not occupy the exact same location at the same time, and if it is not the same time then it is not a time loop. There is no logic in the movie and no logic in time loops.

The past-version went up with the exploding ship, so the version that is alive is a paradox. What happened to the guy in the space pod that had millions of versions of himself forming the planet's ring doesn't seem to be explained.
@Sejen779 ай бұрын
I think the point of deliberately blowing up the ship was to clear the area completely. Either a new ship arrives and has nothing to collide with or collide with it, or it's a "mercy kill" with the loop perminently ended.

This happens when you try to explain a movie to someone by just watching trailers and tv serials. Hanuman ji case was totally different. Firstly, it happened in the Nagalok when he went to get the ring of Shri Ram. He found out that there was huge pile of rings and his every version from different timeline/multiverse would come to take the ring. It was his destiny. And in every timeline/multiverse Shri Ram threw his ring to Nagalok to stop Hanuman ji from interfering with the natures rule (life is cycle which starts at death and ends at death) . Yamraaj/kaal would never have been able to take Shri Ram towards moksha in Hanuman ji's presence.
