Garett Crochet with White Sox is another possibility for Astros, but the trade may require giving up too many players. His annual salary is less than a million/yr, with 2 more years left on his rookie contract. A first round pick at no. 11 in 2020; got Tommy-John in 2022. He has requested a trade and contract extension, so maybe a deal can be done. At 6 ft., 6 inch, 219 lbs, and age 25 yrs., he’s a big guy with a high strikeout rate.
