Thanks for sharing some of my best memories with my older brother were spent there. Mom would by us season passes in summer and drop us off when she went to work all day! our Greezed lighting record was 18 times in a rows! Loved it wish I could bring my family now!

dont know what you got till its gone..ive been to so many amusement parks,including both six flags in texas,one in mexico elitchs (when it was six flags)and magic mountain..but ASTROWORLD even though it was smaller..it was just simply the best..

I agree! I got pretty emotional watching this...Only us locals would understand....Astroworld was a huge part of my childhood....was so sad to see it go!

when greezed lightnin went to kentucky it was doomed...it sat for a few years then went kentucky kingdom was reopened they scrapped it since it was beyond repair and replaced it with lightnin run
