Honestly I love this line because while we're talking literally about a god, Chakravartin, playing god, this can also relate to real life with things scaling from small class project groups to mass corporations. In many cases, some fool always wants to be the top dog and play god. That "world" can also range to what you perceive your world to be or what others perceive theirs to be.

A curiosity: a Japanese proverb recites "Hotoke no kao mo sando made", which means "Even the Buddha gets angry if you brush his face thrice", which can apply in the confrontation with Chakravartin: you actually "brush his face" three times, one in fortress Karma, another in space as the giant statue and finally in Event Horizon Excellent gameplay! I really enjoyed following it with you, especially the Augus, final Yasha, Chakravartin and the lost chapters battles were really intense and had me often staying on tenterhooks! ✌️

And there it is. Asura's Wrath plays well enough, but I stayed for the story, music, and sheer cinematic overkill it had to offer. As an anime, it's one of my favorites. It's truly a spectacle. I'm glad you enjoyed your experience.

Reason they make Akuma OP in this game, because Capcom is very protective of their Street Fighter characters, so they don't want Akuma lose to Asura. That's why they shown both Akuma and Asura evenly matched for 500 yrs, and the "To be continue" is just their way to end the game. Also Episode 11.5 has the most incredible display of animation. Aura's is the best. They were showing different animation styles that are made by different animators. Japan brings such incredible display of animation, and America aren't in their level when it comes to insane works like Asura's Wrath.

Asura's Wrath, one of the best games I've ever had the honour of playing. In case you guys didn't notice and haven't pieced the puzzle together yet, throughout the entire game, it was actually Mithra telling and narrating the story of Asura to the children at the very ending that you see. Remember all those episode previews for the next episode you see at the end of every episode you finished, and it was being narrated like telling a story by someone? Yes, that person is Mithra. From start to finish, the entire game was Mithra telling the story of her father to those children. And you are playing it. Living it. Witnessing it. First hand. Like how those children were wowed and entertained when listening to the story. When my cousin and I came to this same conclusion of the ending, we were totally mindblown by how awesome this game's story is and from the way the story of the game has been been told and unfolded.

It's neat seeing a destroyer as the good guy. Uncontrolled growth without destruction is basically cancer. God, how does a game about "angry man go punch" make me absolutely BAWL? Multiple no times no less? The pan down the building at the start off the "present day" is a reference to the Street Fighter 2 intro, including capping off with a punch in the exact same pose. I have the distinct idea, and I don't know if it's canon or not, but I suspect that the new world is shaped by Mithra's wishes. Which...means that the events of Street Fighter are somehow part of her desire for the universe. Mithra created the llluminati? Who knows?! I wonder why they didn't dub the Street Fighter stuff. It's not like they don't have English VAs. "Kiss!" "Be friends!" ah the duality of streamer Believing that your leader should do all your thinking for you and that independent thought is treason? That's really uncomfortably timely right now, ow. Y'know, come to think of it, Princess Bride would make for a really good Monkey Island style game.

Yasha's masked up again to provoke Asura/get him to think of Yasha as an enemy even after they've set aside their differences, which is a cute touch. All for the sake of getting Asura used to his new power. The Chakravartin fight is great, and using the QTEs but from the boss perspective is such an amazing piece of presentation. Everything about this game's presentation is so tight that I can forgive the little bits of clunky gameplay. It's such a great ride.

I've always thought that Augus was Asura's dad and Deus was Yasha's dad, but it's possible they're just in a mentorship relationship. Still, it's possible that Deus' "Pride" is what made Yasha to have his "Melancholy" because of how Deus kept drowning his hope, and Augus' "Greed" is what made Asura to have his "Wrath", because Augus is the first image he had of a person wanting to stand at the top of everyone and everything. So, maybe in a sense, their mentors did "birth" their personalities.

If researched well, Asura will win. Even in mythology, Buddism/Hinduism (which Asuras Wrath is loosely based on) has gods way stronger than that of the entire Greek or Norse pantheon. But DB has made mistakes before and shown that sometimes, popularity can cloud their judgment. Let's hope it doesn't this time.
