Asus B650E F gaming WIFI

Hello its been a while this is my look at the am5 Asus B650E F one of the higher end B650 and theses boards are stupidly expensive in the uk this board cost £300 which is a lot consider my MSI Carbon Pro x570 was £250 previous generation.

Should i chose b650e-e or b650e-f paying 40 dollars more ? . I dont need m2 gen5 slots . VRM is more important for me to upgrade in next years ? What would you do ? I need some help

I go with the B650E F gaming unless you really need that second m2 slot the vrms are pretty soild onmost boards from what I read and given the price of the boards plus gen 5 nvme drives are going to be expensive apparently

I also have an X570 MSI pro carbon wifi mobo. I want this upgrade too and it cost $280 in the US. Wanting a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU to go with it!

should go great with it yea i paid £300 in 2022 i have mine paired up with a Ryzen 7900x enough slots for ssd one gen 5 slot the x670 were just a bit over the top in terms of what i needed overclocking features and other stuff

Can a 1TB NVMe SSD Gen4 fit in to a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot and if it can will it operation as it should

It should do just at gen 4 speeds instead of 5 your still getting something like 7000 read and write speeds if my understanding is correct

Can this mobo handle upcoming AMD flagship processors, considering it has 12+2 vrm phase?

Your answer is at the 27:23 timestamp in that video and he says the vrm is massively overkill even for the 7950x he tested and vrm temps is less than 60 degrees under the stress test. So it is not even breaking a sweat.

Quick question, an expensive motherboard,.what does it do as opposed to like the CPU and GPU etc

Controls everything from power to the most minor of things

@@Eddylive components quality, amount of pci lane, bus speed, connectivity such as amount of NVME/SATA connector and more. As an example, the B650 is cheaper but only supports PCIE 4.0 while the B650-E and B650E-F supports PCIE 5.0 which is future-proof when GPU/NVME will eventually be able to reach PCIE 5.0 speeds. Alot of higher ends Motherboard will also have RGB and other fancy designs.
