We have the same ROG router. I'm planning to get DITO as backup my PLDT. However, I'm wondering if the router can run it both at the same time? Not combining their speed but their bandwith also.

unfortunately no, load balance of asus router is round robin, every time a device is connected, it does not combine speed nor bandwidth from two ISP..

hello. i'm planning to buy an asus dual wan router. will dual wan functionality still work if the 2 ISPs are both wireless ISPS? both will be connected to asus through lan/wan. For example: ISP 1: Smart Home Wifi 5G ISP 2: TDlink Lte router with gomo sim. Thanks for your reply and hardwork!

Do you have any recommendations for budget Multi-WAN Routers with Load Balancing and Fail Over functionality?

If you are looking over fail over functionality asus would be an option, but their load balancing feature is not that great.. It just allocate the devices alternately on which isp will it connect. If you are looking for a great budget solution try to check mikortik routers, or rujie.. I have not tested their products yet.. But i believe it works great based on reviews..

Hey man. Thanks for the video! I bought the GT AX6000 and setup dual WAN. But, I can only access 1 modem at a time. Is there a way to access both primary and secondary modem IPs?

i will check on my config, i have never tested to access both modems using asus wifi routers, have you tried to check if you set the dual wan to load balance config then try accessing both modem?

Hi, you need a modem to actually have internet connection, this wifi routers just give you better experience compared to stock modem routers. :)

I have one internet with better ping and one with better speeds I want to use the good ping one for playing is there a specific way

unfortunately the load balancing config os ASUS dual wan is just round robin, you wont be able to specify which internet service provider to use for individual units, there are advance wifi router for that kind of needs, like mikrotik routers, or create your own router with pfsense, it is a little tedious to learn how to config those but your requirements will fit those..

Same din po kaya ang result kung may company VPN? Naexp ko kasi dati habang wowork ako, kapag nag down yung converge, nahihirapan ako makareconnect gamit ang backup internet dahil sa company vpn. Kung ganyan ka smooth na transition ng primary to backup, abay, napakatindi ng router na ito. Goods na goods sa wfh setup kung sakali.

Hi Kevin, not sure with other VPN, pero have tested with cisco vpn ng friends company, need mag reconnect ng vpn connection, baka kasi isa sa security feature is kung ung public ip is nagbago need to re authenticate.. :)

Hi Alina, gusto ko din po sana, kaya lang wala pa po akong na test na router na may wan aggregate feature.. mostly pang mga enterprise router po sila.. :) pag nagkaroon po ako, gagawan ko ng separate video for wan aggregation
