Isn't it better to use a compressed air canister to clean the fan and the heatsink?

Anyone can help me ? I just cleaning my laptop but after i assembly all part i can't turn on my laptop the screen is blank but cd player is running and Fan not working , and bottom led is only green if i charged only red . How to fix that , the cable is on right place all

Off-topic a bit. What's the max supported memory capacity for K55VD? Asus techsupport said it's 8GB (2 x 4GB) but some forum user have successfully upgrade to 16GB.
