@@mr.mastermind4840 yeah but I had to take it to a repair guy. It was a while ago but I think he said that my storage was corrupted and said that it was likely because I had been playing a game that my laptop didn't have enough ram to run safely. It only cost me around £60-70 to get fixed.

I got the exact same issue today after cleaning my laptop in and out with some alcohol. And after so many troubleshooting it was my ram (which was fineee before my cleanup) when ram removed it works fine and when i insert it back its gone with the light show . Still im not sure if its the ram or ram slot

Hi there, thanks for the video. I am having the same problem with my ASUS ROG G752VT. Has the same two flash and a pause on the battery indicator. Would love a hands on video that explains the re-flashing process. How do I identify the Bios chip and does it need to be soldered de-soldered? No, that will be a different issue. I think I've seen that mean critically low battery / battery not charging or stuck in sleep mode.

I have the same problem. After this problem occurred, I took my laptop (Asus Vivobook 14 pro) to Asus warranty. After a few days, I got the laptop. They said they replaced the motherboard and it was fixed. But after a month, the same problem occurred again. I have to try several times to get the laptop to boot.

I upgraded my ram and installed a 8gb corsair vengeance. After installing it my laptop doesn't turn on and my battery light flashes white. The fan of my laptop runs but the display is black. I tried changing the ram and still doesn't work.

Try EC and bios recovery methods for your Asus model. If they don't work, the bios chip might need to be re-flashed directly on the motherboard.

I have a similar vivobook and the same problem occurred. Now the weird thing is that after trying to turn it on for like the 5th time, it just boots fine. I opened the MyAsus app on the laptop and updated the bios the official way, but the problem still occurs. At the end I have no other option than to bring it in to an asus service center which is great because I was gonna sell the laptop tomorrow. Thanks ASUS.

Man my car does stuff that professionals have no idea whats going on too...same with you, i couldn't find anything on this but i am totally clueless with computers. I barely use this thing and never dropped it or bumped it. I used it, went to sleep(didnt close the screen) and the next day my keyboard lights up but the screen wont. I noticed the white light blinking and my search brought me here. It looks like 3 white blinks, a pause then 3 white blinks and this continues as long as its on. Ive never even heard of a bios...should I just take this to a professional?

@@KyleGP It's okay now, figured it out. It was the display connector. I accidentally yanked the plastic cover of the motherboard. I didn't realize it was also taped on to the black cover of the display connector. Hope I explained it well lol eng is not my first.

It seem problem with windows deep sleep. Just disconnect the power and battery, and leave it alone over night. After about 12 hours, pressing power button beyond 30 seconds. Then plug the power adapter. When it powered on, just powered off then plug the battery again. When above failed, just unplug everything connected, and let it rest overnight. At least that is works for me, might different on others.

Same problem bro.. I have sent It to Asus-Service, but they resent it anyway, and told me that everything is all right. After that, the problem appeared again and a hard reset helped me once.. but after 1 week It's not helping anymore.. Guess i have to send It again, and ask about this bios reflashing.. One question - can I update my bios via pendrive? Im asking cuz, i dont know how to get to bios options, while ASUS is not showing? Thanks for the video! Regards

It requires flashing the bios to the bios chip directly on the motherboard. You cannot do it with a USB drive unfortunately.

So yesterday i add another 8gb RAM for my laptop, so its 8x2. I was playing game at that time when suddenly my laptop crahsed out and i cant do npthing. I force shut down my laptop and when i try to turn it on, my laptop screen is showing nothing. The fan was on, the system underneath is on, i can feel the warmth, the "laptop on" light indicator is on (white flash), but the battery light indicator is showing up for 2 secs and then took a 5 secs pause and another 2 secs light goes on. I thought maybe overheat so i leave it there for a night. I woke up, still the same. Till recently idk how, i tried to turn it on, still the same, so i turn it off (with button ofc), but the moment i tried to turn off, it give me sound like "bzzt" somewhere inside, like a sound of some circuit suddently running. And then i tried to turn it on, its normal somehow, like suddenly its recovered. Should i be concerned about this? Or do i still need to see my repair man?

If it's brand new it might also indicate low battery. Charge it first.

i have asus vivobook s510un and i am facing this issue many times if you observe carefully when you turn on the laptop and battery indicator is blinking white but display is not working and laptop keyboard is woking if you try alt+f4 it will shutdown without pressing long power button key but here is a catch if you shutdown laptop using long press of power button its bios will be reset and then try to turn on again using power cable plugin then immediately display will come and battery indicator also behave normal

I have the same issue, but it seems to be a different cause. I got a new RAM module, inserted it, and I had the same issue with the screen not turning on but the battery indicator blinking twice and then pausing. The laptop still works if I put the old RAM stick back in. Do you know whether it is a compatibility error, a setting error, or a faulty RAM stick?

Most likely compatibility issue or the motherboard doesn't support higher capacity ram. Check the maximum supported for the laptop and make sure the RAM type is the same as the original.

@@hanro50 Yeah, just to update for people who might have this issue in the future, it IS caused by a faulty RAM module. If your RAM is still under warranty, request a replacement. If not, you'll have to buy a new one or use the soldered RAM.

I got the same problem but it got fixed easy. Dunno if i was lucky or something, but this is how it got fixed automatically. Whenever it was no display and battery light was blinking i force shut down by holding power button. After it shut down, Then i press and hold the power on for 40 secs. It opened automatically. Maybe i was lucky. My laptop was asus dash f15

The imbecillic model I have will not shut down completely using the power button. It just puts it to sleep. Guess I'll have to wait until the battery runs completely down All this began after a major windows update some time ago, but it hasn't happened in ages and this problem hasn't reoccurred for a while so thought I'd got away with not needing to roll it back. *Sigh*.
