Also please lower the ambient light of the room. it raises the deep black level of the qd oled. qd oled dont perform at their best when there is light facing the screen

Tanks for the video. I think with this screen you can disable vertical sync. Regarding the plastic part with the ROG logo, it must be placed below the display that goes on your table to display the logo on your table

The 455 nits thing is a bug. Going to need a firmware update to fix it. It's only an issue for fullscreen brightness, 10% and 1-3% peak brightness is not affected strangely enough. Using the Windows HDR calibration tool does make it show 1000 nits as it should, but HDR overall is still bugged. Test this out easily by setting it to HDR, then opening a HDR capable browser like Edge and open up the "winter fox HDR" video on youtube. Switch between HDR modes and you'll see the issue. Console mode is the mode that other monitors call HDR 1000, which does show peak highlights of 1000 nits. But like all the other HDR modes, the overall brightness on a full bright image, such as the 'winter fox' video shows you the issue. HDR True Black 400 is the brightest for fullscreen brightness, but is capped at ~455 nits. Console mode (HDR 1000) which should be the best mode is sadly unusable due to this issue until they fix it...

Did you have any flickering with G-Sync enabled? Like in darker (gray) areas in games or other applications. Did you have VRR flickering at all? Are there any problems with the asus Rog Swift PG32UCDM? I have the Alienware AW3225QF and it has G-Sync flickering in darker areas and loadingscreens. Is there anyone who have the same problem with the AW monitor? The Dell-Support wasn't really helpful and said I should ask the Nvidia-Support, I did that and they (Nvidia) have done everything possible to help, but the flickering is still there. The Dell-Support said, it's no hardware-issue and an exchange is not possible. So I'm going to return it, because I don't want to pay 1100 bucks for a monitor that can't do G-Sync without problems. (G-Sync is important for me because it eliminates screentearing and it makes the games much smoother!) So I'm thinking about buying the Asus one but I don't want to have the same issue... Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately all OLED panels will have VRR flicker when there are wide-variances in frame-times. I have found using Special K's FPS limiter to limit frames to something I can always hit eliminates flicker in the overwhelming majority of games I play. Special K's limiter by far has the best frame-time consistency of the available limiters.

@@BiGBaNgThEoRy323 The only normal flickering is when the framerate drops below the limit specified by Nvidia or AMD. The flickering of the alienware AW3225QF was every time I looked at darker areas. I looked at the framerate and frametime and there were no spikes or anything like that. The graphs were completely flat. It isn't normal for the flickering to always appear in darker areas. Bro I bought this monitor to upgrade from my PG27UQ. I returned it😢 It surprises me that people are not talking about how dim bright scenes are on these panels. Also how dark games like RE Village look in HDR. I tried everything to better the situation but compared to my PG27UQ, HDR looked meh. I’m bummin cuz it looked amazing in some scenes and awful in others. I just want a 32” version of my 27UQ. I tried the UQX and the UQXR. Both were duds. Both had the worst haloing ever. I’m hoping the MLA WOLED version coming will be a bit brighter. Matte screen doesn’t bother me at all.
