even it is a little bit pricey than its competitors, RTX 4060 is becoming more worth it to purchase due to its DLSS 3.5 and FG support and not to mention of its low power consumption (it is significant for me who concerns with electrical bill). For 1080p gaming (coupled with productivity potentials), it is truly my personal best bang for the bucks.

I came from a 1650 TI laptop and being able to upgrade to a 4060 Ti is god sent, I had to go for the 16GB version since I do 3D and need a lot of VRAM from time to time. KZbinrs keep bashing the 4060s because of the small difference from the 3060s, but they don't really see the target market and use case of the card other than gaming or upgrading every time a new card series is released. Sure there are better AMD options for gaming in that price range but since I don't only game on my rig but mostly do 3D professionally I needed an NVIDIA card which has a more mature Optix and CUDA tech compared to the AMD HIP. AMD just eats NVIDIA's dust.

I tested a few configurations, and now I have 4 Noctua fans in it. 1x 120mm at the back, 1x 140mm at the top (both exhaust) and 2x 140mm at the bottom (intake) cable tied in place with rubber washers at the bottom to move them a bit up from the mesh. Total silence at normal use (literally cant tell its on), and totally fine at full blast like Cinebench. Much happier than I was with a Arctic LF3 360 AIO in my previous case. And temps are good, using a Thermalright Phantom Spirit.

Hi, I bought the same case (tempered glass on one side) but there is something I'm curious about. While customizing the system, I did not think of adding an external fan to the case and there is only 1 exhaust fan in the case. (And a tower cooler for the processor) Should I buy an external fan? Some people using the case say that they do not install any extra fans and the temperatures are quite low.
@JayeLeli
@JayeLeli 11 ай бұрын
I have the same case also with TG. Do you have a GPU? If yes then it's better to add additional fans. Current set-up for mine: 240mm AIO (2 Fans as exhaust) 1 Fan (above PSU fan slot) as exhaust also) 3 intake fans (Bottom 2 fans and I reversed the rear fan used it as intake also) PSU as intake also blowing exhaust up right.
@krazystuff22
@krazystuff22 8 ай бұрын
General rule of thumb is you need at least 1 exhaust fan to make sure heat gets dumped outside the case, and then additional fans after that are to create positive pressure in the case (more air going in than being actively pulled out). Ideally these intake fans have a filter (in the AP201’s case, along the bottom) so that air entering the case doesn’t have dust, and since it’s positively pressurized the air that’s not leaving via the exhaust fan is pushing out other unfiltered holes (rather than unfiltered air being sucked into the case through those holes). If you just have the 1 exhaust case fan it’s not a bad idea to get at least one more fan to put at the bottom of the case to supply that clean filtered air. You can certainly have more than one exhaust fan, just try to balance the airflow between your intake and exhaust fans to maintain positive pressure in your case.

You have applied the thermal paste a little too much, it should be applied as much as a lentil grain, and it would be better to spread it on the processor surface with a bank card or a special spatula. Driving the thermal paste from the processor surface to the motherboard in such a way that it overflows may cause malfunctions on the motherboard if there is hardware there.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 will work great together on 1920 × 1080 pixels screen resolution for Graphic Card Intense Tasks. This configuration has 3.9% of processor bottleneck . Everything less than 5% should not be concerned major bottleneck.

I got a 4070 and 5 5600x. I game on 2560x1440p 240hz. Bottleneck shows 12% but honestly can't tell when gaming. The games i play run smooth with 0 issues.
