@@stycks3008 I don't know what the max is, but Gamers Nexus did a review of the non-SE version (which is barely different from the SE) using a 3950X overclocked to 4.2GHz and running at 198 watts, and even when it was noise normalized to 35 decibels (which is equivalent to a quiet library) the average temperature under heavy load was around 77.4 degrees Celsius, which I believe is well within the safe margins. Basically it should be okay even for an i9 14900K so long as you limit the power consumption to roughly under 200 watts (you only lose less than 3% performance on average when limiting it to 200W vs stock 253W by the way).

@@stycks3008 It can cool any non HEDT CPU. This includes 13900k / 14900k. The CPU won't be drawing 300w with it but it should be over 250w. You're not gaining much more frequency boosting over 200w anyway let alone 250w.

The tempered glass version also fits with this cooler (but might be out of budget). You just need to take off the decorative caps at the top of the heatsink which cover the heat pipes (two screws on the top plate) - I run a similar build but with a Ryzen 5600 and rtx 3070 with two fans on the top and get temps around 65c-70c when gaming under load. While the TG does turn things into a little hotbox, I just can't resist staring at what I've built, I'm a sucker for the RGB lighting!

I built in this case recently and I have to say, cable managing the PSU is _very_ important if you've got a card like an FE with a passthrough fan. Otherwise you risk those cables coming out of the PSU dropping straight into that fan. Not a concern at all with normal dual/triple fan cards. I ended up using slim noctua fans on top as exhaust and rotating the CPU cooler 90 degrees to exhaust upwards as well (Noctua will give you a 90 degree adapter for free if you're using one of their products) for negative pressure since the case includes dust filters for the bottom and both sides. Built a little 7700x/4070ti mobile gaming rig and I'm very happy with the result, the NR200P was fun to build in
@DengKevin Жыл бұрын
If someone wants to replicate this build, then I would advise to change some of the parts because there are parts that are a better choice for the same or cheaper price. CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black -> Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE RAM: GSkill Trident Z Neo 16GB 3600 CL18 -> Corsair LPX 16GB 3600 CL18 SSD: Crucial P2 1TB -> Intel 670P 1TB The Thermalright Phantom Spirit is simply an amazing air cooler for the price that has similar performance to the legendary Noctua NH-D15. The Hyper 212 Black (2023) doesn't come close. The RAM changed to low profile because cheaper, fits better, and same specs. SSD changed because same capacity, DRAM cache, and cheaper.

@DengKevin7 ай бұрын
@@LowKeyOfficialYT The T500 is a good SSD choice. The cooler will fit into the case. I have personally used the Thermalright Phantom Spirit inside the NR200P. There are some dependancies for the cooler. 1: If your RAM is too tall, then you'll have to use only 1 of the 2 CPU fans. If you want tall RAM, then 1 fan is perfectly acceptable if you have a Ryzen 5/Intel i5 CPU. But I highly advise getting low profile RAM 2: If the motherboard CPU socket is higher than average, then you might not be able to use a 25mm 120mm fan as top exhaust, and will have to use a 15mm slim fan instead. Most boards should not have this problem. 3: If you don't have sleeved flexible Power Supply cables then putting the 2nd fan above the RAM might pose a problem if you don't have excellent cable management.

@ko_tech Жыл бұрын
Great setup at this budget. I have this exact case and couldn't be happier with it. In terms of temperature management, it stands out as one of the best ITX cases available, albeit slightly larger. With that said, based on my testing and based on the testing done by Machines & More, I recommend moving the 2 bottom fans to the top for the best temps. The bottom fans are mostly optional and primarily contribute to reducing GPU temps during idle, likely due to modern GPU fans not spinning at idle. Additionally, make sure you have enough room at the bottom for the standard 120mm fans. In my case, I have the Asus RTX 4070 Dual, which is roughly a 2.5-slot GPU, and I can only accommodate slim fans. Standard fans already come into contact with the GPU, which is suboptimal for minimizing turbulence.

Thats a full platform for $420 that has at least 3 generations of support with a possibility to be extended as amd already extended am5 from 2024+ to 2025+. 12th gen intel is a dead end that doesnt save you that much money

Bro, this is the shit. This is what I love to see. Not everyone can afford the highest end stuff, and this is an amazing configuration for the price, especially considering the ITX form factor. Great video, man.

thank you, i too planning to continue what been done, but all devices are in development mode so nothing can be done except showing what already uploaded

i kind of agree that theyre sort of unqualified graphically, so waiting for teams works then record again

poor advice... only 16GB RAM but with RGB?! Who cares about RGB in a budget build? Rather take 32GB non-RGB? Especially DDR4-3200 sticks are damn cheap, it wouldn't have broken the budget.
@Cainny11 ай бұрын
Dude, the difference between 16 to 32gb is a huge jump when you compare it to the $5 he spent on the tiniest bit of rgb. It's not even a set in stone build. Build it how you want it.
@NeePscambaiting11 ай бұрын
@@Cainny if you/he care about saving $5 then you shouldn't spend it on RGB at all. RGB is useless and just a way of wasting money if you don't care about it.

I've never heard of fan controller! Thanks for sharing that, I'll have to try it out!

I'm not really a fan of heavy rgb, so this build is absolutely perfect for me. The small form factor will make it easier to fit on my desk, too.

Beautiful and very capable build. Well worth the money.

One strange missing piece from this video at the end is that the NR200 does come with fans. A 120mm and 92mm fan with the base case model. They're not the quietest fans out there, but for getting started on a budget they're fine. For better fans, another user said the Arctic fans can come in multipacks for great savings.

I just built my nephew this exact same setup for his first PC for Christmas. Great hardware market right now.

If it's not strictly ITX you can fit 7500F, Kleev 2x16 6000CL30, 7800XT in the 1000 budget easily. 200 extra to come in sff size

I agree with most of these choices, except I'd go with a faster processor if you play games like Apex, CoD, OW, CS, etc. I was told for years a 600 range processor would be plenty for any comp game. The problem is 1% lows are carried by the cpu, which affects consistency. I had a 5600 xt paired with a ryzen 3600 for years. My performance was good, but struggled with framerates. Black friday 1 year ago I get a 5800x3d. I was locked at 144hz almost 100% of the time on every game I just listed. All scenarios, all maps, low settings. If you run 1080p low settings, your cpu is your highest priority. Software engineers are not optimizing for cpu. There is some kind of misinformation going around about gpu/cpu balancing.

I just built a $2000 build with the NR200 so that case is definitely not too old even for high end. I have a RTX 4080 and 7800x3D in there and temps are amazing. I searched for a more premium case in the 15-20 liter range but really couldn’t find anything to compete with it.

What mobo and ram kit did you go with? I'm currently researching a similar build list. Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't recommend connecting to the internet during Windows installation. Just to do updates after the fact.

hey a built a super similar build earlier this year! inspired by your sff build videos. I went all AMD with a R5 7600 and RX 6800. build came out over $1500 because I bought everything new. this was also in January this year so it was a different market. love to see that I got the fan configuration right for an air cooled build in the NR200
