It really annoys me, because the PX16 and the tablet, PZ13 both have full size SD. The frigging tablet has it. So why did this model not get it?

@@Wistbacka True. Also why and who the fk is using micro SD in 2024. Most still use a Usb type A port which gets removed. I really don't understand what companies think when making a laptop.

@@94535 gopro, insta360, all dji drones, all dash cams, all phones, some pocket cameras, tablets, various other handheld devices. Truth to be told, MicroSD is very much more used now than before. But any "creator" will most likely use full size SD, or have a micro-to-sd converter. On the other hand, most creators also have an external SD card reader anyways. So really; if they couldnt fit a full size port, they should have added an additional USB A or C port. Would have been much more useful

@@94535logistics. there is such little space so they would probably be able to fit 2 usb c + 1 A or 2A they are gonna go with more io. usb c is a better port anyways. same with microsd. Its already so cramped in this thing and honestly is such an impressive laptop anyways

@@94535I mean, I use micro SD cards. I haven't had any issues with what I use them for and they work perfectly fine for my needs, and I don't always want to bust out the micro SD card adapter so🤷🏾‍♂️. There are more like me out there. We're likely the demographic they are targeting. There's a bunch of other devices that have full size SD card readers so there's something out there for everyone. It's not a big deal🤷🏾‍♂️

I'd prefer mini LED over Oled anyday. Gets brighter and also the chance of screen burn in especially at long staying static images like in Windows, I'm good

@@kizankotbh screenburn is an overrated issue, I've been using ASUS Vivobook Pro 14x for past 3 years. Their screensaver will kick in once you leave the system unused for some time.

@@kunjupulla but there are moments when u just are working in programs that do stay static in certain areas. I prefer to just not have this be a risk. Phones also get this after 3/4 years

That’s what the ROG X-13 is for, this is for creators who don’t need high refresh rate, though 60 hz is probably a little low ngl even for that

@@bipul5689 computers usually meant for web browsing. back in 2008, they ran under intel atoms and 2 gb of ram and were pretty slow but cheap. the modern day equivalent would be a chromebook

this wouldve been the perfect laptop for me since im a new university student (who also wants to game on my freetime), but i didnt know this existed and got an asus zephyrus g14 instead. I love my laptop, but touchscreen and an extra hour or 2 of battery life would be amazing

Really wish the spectre came with a 4050 in the 14 inch form factor .. ASUS Qc is a huge dealbreaker for me.. literally in a massive fix between this and the spectre (i barely game.. maybe just a lil forza and some minevraft but that’s all)

I also have it, but.... it restarts out of the blue when you play games on it. And after repares... they replaced the coollingpaste, but still the same problem... also what they offer now is only to send ot again and again for repairs... it looks great but is the worst laptop i ever bought!

Dedicated GPUs always consume a lot of power. Especially if it's in a thin laptop where it doesn't get much cooling. Transistors conducts more if they're running hotter, which means it consumes more power. And how did they manage to fit a large battery into this small notebook? I can't imagine that this has a good battery life. Only the OLED display could increase the battery life in this laptop, but since it's "3K", it doesn't. Most GPUs under load consumes AT LEAST 80-100W which drains the battery about in an hour even if it would have a 100Wh battery, and I didn't count the power consumption of the screen, ssd, cpu, etc. I bet this flat laptop has this much battery capacity. It could last 6-8 hours if you only playing music or watch a non-4k video, but lots of people uses their laptop to work (or gaming, but most of the gamers uses their laptop on the charger). Also, it doesn't have much ports. It has too few ports. It doesn't even have ethernet, which is an essential thing.

the pixel density on that is wild. 255.36. a normal 27" 1440p is only 108.79 the pixels per square inch in this is 65k, while 1440p is only 11.8k almost a 6x increase. (if my math is right)
