I need to make a small correction to the amount of storage available. It's 256MB, not 512MB. Sorry about that.

hi, tuf ax6000 and rog gt-ax6000 which one will you choose ?
@SamBondor11 ай бұрын
I didn't test the TUF-AX6000, but from what I could gather online, it seems that it comes with a 2.0GHz SoC and 512MB of RAM which appears to be the same the GT-AX6000, but the TUF apparently uses Mediatek. Both have 2.5GbE ports, the gaming features are all there, but the VLAN and Guest Network Pro are only present on the GT-AX6000 for now. Also, there is support for Merlin only on the GT-AX6000, but the TUF series has received support from GNUton, although the AX6000 version is still in the works. If you don't care about the software aspects that I mentioned, then just get whichever is the cheapest. Otherwise, the ROG GT-AX6000 seems to be better.

A very strange design. Wi-Fi chips under a massive radiator, and a powerful and hot processor is cooled by an aluminum plate? In countries with hot climates, overheating is guaranteed.

It also has those small thermal transferring pads (an alternative to the thermal paste), but yeah, this is pretty much the standard way most manufacturers go about the passive cooling of their wireless routers.
