Hey Josh, I hope you see this! Just a word of advice, you said you didnt know what FSR/Frame Generation were. They are features designed by AMD to allow you to push even more FPS out of the AMD Z1 chip in the ROG Ally. FSR - Allows you to run at a lower resolution for better frames but will use a unique upscaler to maintain good visual quality. Frame Generation - A tool that calculates the frames being pushed out and will attempt to fill in any missing frames when you are dropping below 60FPS. This can basically double your framerate, however not all games have full support for these features. I would look them up! You're essentially getting free performance with them turned on 👍

i can do so many activities, i mean things, with this! but yeah this is clearly just the king of all handhelds rn. almost tempted to get one and use it as my main pc. i dunno why lol, because i have no use for a pc handheld. i play destiny a ton but i'm always trying to quit anyway. and i dont go anywhere to need a handheld i'm old not some kid in new york. heck i got a nice samsung chromebook (Qled, 8GB RAM) for 329, and my beelink mini pc for like (Ryzen something, 16GB) 220. combined thats cheaper than this. heck maybe throw in my pixel tablet too think i paid 340 for that.

What GPU and CPU could you compare with Asus Rog Ally X ? I have i7 9700K & RTX 2080 Super. Is Ally X better ?

It would compare to a gt 1650. Your 2080 super is a faster card.

Your PC is multiple times faster! The ROG Ally is only worth it if you're able to manage decent performance in your preferred games. Your PC can handle anything 👍

How do you think future games although for 2 next years will work on Rog Ally X ? I think about games of 2024 like God of War Ragnarok and Assassins creed Shadows and also future games like new tomb raider, the Witcher, mafia, prince of Persia, Far cry etc... ?

@@PiotrKowalski-jw1kn Honestly, I think they will hold up fairly well, but despite the power packed into this thing, you would have to make some visual sacrifices and wouldn't really be able to experience the full resolution of the Ally X display. It seems the Ally X has a major improvement to battery life/ergonomics. But overall horsepower hasn't changed enough to excuse the increased price tag. I think give it another year, hold out for optimisations to future games and newer releases of handheld PC's. The competition is out there! What I'm saying is if you have the money, then go for it! But you have a PC that can run laps around the Ally X in it's current state 👍

Such disappointment with Ally X , was totally ready to purchase, but turns out that it was launched globally 800$ !!! but in India it's fucking costly, nearly 1100$ !!! I can get a powerful laptop with this amount.... Now Ally X is ditched
