I've spent a month with the Asus ROG Flow X13 and here is my one month review. Do I think the Asus ROG Flow X13 one month later is worth buying? In this video, I'll talk you through my thoughts on it. ►⏩►⏩ Check specs and pricing in the links below…
💻 Asus ROG Flow X13 | GTX 1650 with Asus ROG XG Mobile ( geni.us/X13-GTX1650-XGMobile - Commission Earned )
💻 Asus ROG Flow X13 *Laptop Only* ( geni.us/ROGFlowX13-DR - Commission Earned )
🖊️ Asus Pen ( www.asus.com/us/Accessories/S... )
One month later I am still loving the X13. My biggest annoyance is probably the trackpad. With the G15 and M16 having such great trackpads I know Asus has it in their capabilities to produce a better trackpad. So let's hope on a future version they improve the trackpad and this laptop would be nearly perfect.

Hi! I'm scientist, amateur artist and casual gamer. I found in the Flow all the specs that cover my needings: a powerfull CPU/fast RAM for my data analysis, portability, the 2 in 1 factor (I would like it specially to read papers), 10:9 aspect ratio for documents, the touchscreen for photo editing my drawings or graphics, and of course the casual gaming. However, for productivity and gaming I think 13.4" screens are not ideal at home, and probably I'll buy the Supernova edition + an Ultrawide 1440 p 165 hz monitor. The external monitor will "increase" the FPS, but how much? How much FPS can I get for this both models in CS:Go??
@northernsupernova1
@northernsupernova1 2 жыл бұрын
external monitor wont increase FPS as the ports are connected to the iGPU, so won't disable optimus. Not a big deal actually, this effect is mainly benefiting high spec gaming, which the 3050 series isnt capable of. If you get the XG mobile you can route directly from the dGPU

Hey there. I am an industrial design student and currently debating if i should get the x13 or the zeyphrus g14.. I will have to do a lot of rhino 3d modeling and maybe also some renderings. The pros for the x13 are def the tablet mode and the webcam, but i fear that the 3050 ti is not strong enough for the needs. if you or anyone watching could help me out it would be awesome.. I do have access to great desktops on campus so i could rely on them for the rendering if really needed. I just like the aspect of the touchscreen and the webcam for zoom calls... but if you say that the 3060 of the g14 makes a big difference maybe i should get that. Please help me out haha!
@all-in-one3034
@all-in-one3034 2 жыл бұрын
I'd definitely suggest the flow x13. The 3050ti is definitely capable of 3d modelling and the webcam and touchscreen and portability just make it a better package overall. If you really needed to do heavy projects then you could, as you stated, use those desktops but the portability for easy carrying and the touchscreen for taking notes should leaf you towards the x13. And the x13 will often be cheaper in most places.

Hi Ben, I’m considering buying ROG Flow x13. Here in our country the x13 comes in two configuration, one in 4k, 60hz with RTX 1650 max Q gpu, and second in 1080p, 120hz with RTX 3050 Ti gpu. Both can be cofigured with the ryzen 9 5980 cpu. Which is better? My use case scenario is Autocad, photoshop, sketchup, 3D creation and rendering, often all at the same time. It would be great and will be thankful if you can help me out.

The version with RTX 3050 of 4Gb of video, only comes with 16 GB of RAM, is that correct? Because the Supernova version comes with 32 GB of RAM, but with GTX 1650. Is it advisable to sacrifice RAM (16) for having RTX 3050, or is it better to have more RAM (32) but with GTX 1650? I want to buy the Flow x13 Supernova version that comes with the xg Mobile eGPU, or in the latter case I would buy it separately. Because I work with CAD applications, video, 3D modeling and rendering. But my question is: Which one is more recommended for my work environment? Is the version (RTX3050 + 16RAM) better, or is the version (GTX1560 + 32RAM) better? In both cases I would also buy the xg Mobile eGPU. Thanks for your time!

@franciscojaviervazquez2635 2 жыл бұрын
You MUST prefer the RAM. This because your environment is about editing, which ussually uses a lot more RAM than just gaming (16 Gb for gaming is sufficient). Also, if you got the eGPU, there you have all the power you need. However, in the case you need better performance during the day outhome, the XG mobile weight is just 1 kg, so you won't have any difficult to carry it with you (I don't think the 1650 isn't able to do the job anyway)

I think, in terms of design, this is better than the newer version. I HATE surfs! The newer version is a tablet more than a laptop. This version, however, is sleeker and this laptop is ready for hacking. Amazing performance and super-portable. Great touch screen and you can use it for everything. Ethical hackers would love it, it has a 16:10 screen and a small battery as well. 16 GB RAM is enough and 1TB PCIe SSD. It has a decent CPU, not the best CPU but 5900HS, still la fantastic CPU. in this little bad boy. Price for performance/portability/features, it is one of the best laptops on the market at a decent price, I got mine today for £1,150.00 at a discount. I decided to order it because it was on offer. I just gave my Scar to my niece for free. She is welcome.

I am planning to buy the exact same setup. Because I need decent power in every corner of my house. And when I have to render stuff, I can use xg mobile on my desk. Pen and touch support is a big plus. My few concerns are- no thunderbolt, no pcie gen 4 ssd and no hdmi 2.1. I have a LG OLED 48CX (4K @120Hz) which will not benefit from this hdmi2.0 port. And how much better would an Intel counterpart would perform in adobe premiere, davinci resolve and occasional blender/unreal. My other options are Zephyrus S17, MSI GE76 and Strix Scar 15. But non of these are as portable as Flow x13. Please tell me Flow x13 with XG Mobile RTX3080 16GB is enough.
