Should do a testing of where you put the RAD in the case, front or top and check the temps of both the GPU and the CPU and see what the temps are depending on the placement of the Radiator..

Stop trying to make excuses for the clickety clickety pump, they sound horrible, never buy a GPU with AIO unless your PC is 100 meters away from desk..... Apart from that, great review :)

Looks nice but my msi liquid cooled card runs 37 to 42 c at very similar frame rates. It does look really nice though

Liquid Cooled Matrix There is a possibility of pump problems after a long time. For this reason, I prefer the long-lasting Rog strix 4090 normal version, which runs 3-4 degrees hot :)

+1 for putting the rad on the top. My only experience with liquid cooling a graphics card is by custom fitting a 120 DeepCool AIO on a Strix RX570. The fan was fckin pushin out hells fires out the back of my case 😶

The hotspot and mem temps are still as high as most 4090. For some reason my Galax 4090ST ("cheap" ) gets +10c hot spot and only +5c on memory. Either I got really lucky or something fishy is going on.

I wonder if it has coil whine? 😅 I managed to get a Strix OC for £1500 recently with a discount code and cashback and it is beautiful but with some whine, luckily it sits 8 feet away next to the TV. The new card looks amazing and as someone who has thrown money at custom watercooling in the past if you can afford it then why not.

The ASUS ROG GeForce Matrix RTX 4090 runs on liquid metal cooling, it has a 3fan radiator. What does this change? Firstly, it runs 15 degrees cooler than the Founder's Edition 4090, the speeds are the same. But this one can be overclocked much higher

Not worth it and we shouldn’t commend asus for it. If it was titan card offering something more than the radiator and packaging then maybe more justification for this absurd price. But it seems these kind of prices are being normalised when clearly at the end of the day its a rip off with each series, no matter where the source is everyone jump on that wagon. Titan xp star wars edition the top halo card at the time, was half the price of this one, and still a quarter cheaper than regular 4090. Love good tech but this price inflation and greed is sickening and quite frankly takes away the charm of good ol PCMR and in fact the gaming itself. Lets fuck gamers one more time, first on absurdly priced pc parts then with endless microtransactions… but love the card and miss evga+kingpin..

Being an engineer myself. Believe me Installing this card facing down is the insult of ROG Matrix hardware engineers. Looking at the card this way discomforts me. Disgustingly dissatisfied. Disliked.
