@C4Oc. Жыл бұрын
That's a lot more expensive than what I would have guessed, holy. If it were available in Germany I reckon it'd easily cost over 3500€, maybe close to 4000€, because companies like pricing their GPUs so that you end up paying ~20% more for the same GPU in Germany compared to the USA (1€ is still more than $1, about $1.06 right now). That would be at least twice or thrice the money any average person here is going to earn, post-tax.

2:08 There is another problem that you didn't mention, Liquid Metal (LM) eats bare copper. In 1-2 years you will see your temps go up and you will have to reapply LM to bring your card back to spec. If you decide to purchase this card I would replace the LM with Thermal Grizzly's KryoSheet on day one and never have to service it again. Bottom line, ASUS should have nickel plated the block.

@BansheeBunny Жыл бұрын
@@isocle The KryoSheet runs about 2C hotter than liquid metal, beats every paste on the market and PTM 7950. KryoSheet never dries out, so it will last the life of your device just like PTM 7950. PTM 7950 is not sold to the public so you have to go through an entity that will cut it down to size, repackage and sell it to you. This drives up cost and exposes its sales to fraud. modDYI sells authentic PTM 7950 just shy of three times the cost of KryoSheet. PTM 7950 is on par with high performance paste. The downsides of KryoSheet is that it is conductive and if you need to remount your cooler, you will have to buy another one. You should use conformal coating on any SMDs around the chip you are cooling with it.

You have no clue about prices. The water block itself will cost more than 120 for gpus. If you want liquid metal that's gonna cost u another 20 - 40. I think it is overpriced but I think it’s more of a flex than a value for the money part still dope tho

Love the fact that you've opened gpu, I was curious how it looked inside, thanks

WOW, what an overkill GPU, for all the $$$ and is going to give you a 7 to 11 fps boost... Like always the freeloader KZbinrs... 🤣

I bought a water cooled Aorus 3080 2 years ago. Some of the games that I like have become quite demanding so I decided to overclock the cpu, (also water cooled) and the GPU. Almost no increase in running temperatures. Very happy with it.

if i wanted to have 2 of these in a pc build, would there be a way to use one set of fans and increase the rpm instead of having 2?

I am a simple man, I see optimum, I upvote, I watch, I wait for another video.

i can only imagine this thing would look absolutely sick in a vertical mount setup in a case like an 011D

I didn’t expect it to have just less than 10 fps difference than the regular 4090. I’ll definitely play cyberpunk again once I can afford 4k and oled. Beautiful game.

I think it's funny that the MSRP isn't mentioned because it's so absurd

for the amount of extra effort I don't think 10C would justify the 2x price tag and probably double the weight and size of standard 4090 card./..

also given its proprietary design maintenance and repair would be a nightmare. a competent gamer with proper tools could service his own air cooled gpu at least for fans coolers and heat sink, basic soldering etc. this thing? forget about it lol. For the ultra rich idgaf l33t gamers I suppose.

Does the tubing sleeve feel as cheap as it looks?

The massive power consumption and consequently the massive heat produced by these things is madness. Unless you have an air-conditioned room or live in a cold climate these things make the room intolerable. In warmer weather, summer, spring, I certainly do not need the extra heat, and given power charges the extra costs, of 500watt heater running. These radiator coolers keep the gpu temp tolerable, but only by pushing all that heat into the room. Time to give up PC gaming I guess.
