Awesome video purchase this cooler for my channel rig I haven't installed it yet but I am hesitant to put the radiator fan header on the CPU fan header on the motherboard does CPU fan header with previous builds is sensitive to Fan splitters this one looks like a very futuristic fan splitter anyways putting a fan splitter on the CPU fan header often gives a bios error of CPU fan speed error when restarting your system in the past this has happened every time I myself will probably use the chassis fan header instead for this radiator installation

Great video as always. My mother's maiden name was Flanagan :-) I don't expect a response as I don't see you do them but after installing the back plate to the Asus z790-E there was space between the offset screws and the motherboard. I made sure the screws were tight and there were no spacers in the kit. There was also space around the holes of the mounting tabs of the pump and the offset screws. Not that it should make a difference but I'm installing the Ryujin 240mm non RGB model with Noctua fans. Was there this looseness when you installed it? Thanks in advance and I really enjoy your content.

Thanks for the video, my PC has that AIO but since I didn't build it I wonder if that piece has an entry to refill with liquid and which frequency is the best to do that. In two months my PC will be 1 year of full work and gaming usage and I am wondering a lot things about the maintenance.

Awesome video! I just installed mine and realised that my GPU temperature displayed on the cooler is different from HWINFO. Any thoughts why? I am using an X670E Master from Gigabyte, paired with a Ryujin iii. Cheers!

Hello i would like to ask you a question about this cooler i bought it couple of months ago and i cant seem to control it with fanexpert because its not showing up in armory crate for me i cant download it at all and i downloaded the seperate program from asus and it controls all my other fans just not the one plugged in mobo the ones that are cooling the radiator

I'd love to change the standard fans with Lian Li UNI TL Reverse fans. Would I connect these to the regular Lian Li controller, while connecting the cooling block to the pump header (4-pin) and the usb header in the usb 2.0 header?

So I just ordered this, if I want to do a push pull configuration and use 3 non asus fans on one side, do I just get a fan controller and plug the asus fans with the other fans and then to the motherboard header?

I did Liquid cooling over 20 years ago when I had to make my own water blocks and other parts and I'm finally ready to delve back in after not doing any for a long time. I do have questions about this since I got one. Do I need to fill it with water myself or does it come pre-loaded? Also, is there a trick to disconnecting the tubes since I would like to install it in a way that radiator is outside of the case.

No, research the difference between “closed loop” all-In-one liquid coolers vs “open loop” custom liquid coolers. This is a closed loop AIO (no access to the liquid fill).

Just ordered the White version that just came out in the UK for my Asus ROG Gundam Build.. The Gundam pump now makes a constant clicking noise. At lest with this i can Put a Gundam Gif on it to keep with the rest of the Gundam parts!

Did you RMA or fix this? Mine seems to be doing the same thing, but temps still seem fine. I'm deaf in one ear and always wear headphones, so I don't ever actually hear it. Not sure if I should replace it or not.

Hey man, thanks for the video. Could you help me with something? I have this same AIO and I'm having trouble with the fans. I cannot find them in the Armory Crate software when I want to change the lighting settings. The only things that appear for the AIO are the animation/hwmonitor screen, and the exact same Fan Curve screen that you also have in this video. Thing is, I cannot change the RGB lights on the fans, even after confirming I have plugged both the cables to the PWM header and 3-pin RGB header on my MSI MEG X670E ACE mobo. Have you encountered anything like this issue?

You have to go into your bio and set the rpm speed. Each pc is different but if you have asus Armour crate you can go into settings and tune it.

The fans activate depending on the heat of the cpu so ur cpu isn’t hot enough to activate the third. U can probably change this in bios tho

Looks like they ditched that space consuming fan controller from the previous version. You were forced to use it even if you connected the radiator fans directly to the motherboard because the controller was still required to power the pump. Not sure why they didn't just leave it the same as the original RYUJIN. Asus makes some idiotic design decisions.

I actually tried connecting the USB B power connector to my motherboard using an adapter to see if I can ditch the controller, but it didn't work. The power can only be supplied through the controller. Including the controller with the option not to use it is one thing, but forcing people to use it??? Asus.... for those who dare to be stupid.

Just bought 1 of these as my AIO cooler im using has 1 of the worst and I mean worst software I have ever installed onto my PC in all my computing years!. My Kraken AIO works flawlessy as im getting 33oc idle temps and running my games im getting max 50oc under heavy loads.. But the software thinks im getting 80c, so my pump and fans are all over the place.. I have compared the temps using other software and my temps are very low, but the Kraken thinks overwise.. Its a mess all round.. I could re-map the fan curve but the temp tolences are way off, its pointless, so just bought the ROGRYUJIN III 360 CPU Cooler instead.. Kinda lost my temper with Kraken as there customer service is beyond fustarting.. They are currently doing a software roll back as there have been tones of complaints and to be fair, im done with them, everytime they do a update they break 20 other things..

If you have plugged the fan power cable right to your PSU this will happen. You should find a fan header on your mobo and plug it in there. if you don't have one available then buy a fan controller/hub. If it's already plugged in your mobo then check your bios for fan controls.

the twelves small screws to attach the radiator to the case have no washers, thus the screws are too long and they touch and bumps the rad... really stupid from asus !

89 degrees under load? Isn’t that really high? That’s like 20 degrees higher than the worst AIO’s I’ve seen. Could that be wrong?

This gen of intel has very hot chip, 89 degrees under full load it's pretty normal for this gen of CPUs.

Yes that seems quite high, My 12700k doesn't even get that hot with an air cooler. It does reach the low 80's with air though. But with this AIO I can't imagine you should be hitting nearly 90 degrees. I haven't gotten mine fully installed yet, so not sure what results I'll have yet.
