It's the graphics card and the display that blow the price up. I wouldn't be surprised if they all amount to 3 of the 4 k of this laptop. So Ram is sth you don't pay much attention at the end of the day. But you are right 32 gb on 4k machine is tiny. But then again rtx 4090 should not cost that much either.

It’s impressive but that things more expensive than my Suzuki swift 🤣 I got a MacBook Air for my laptop needs and ps5 for gaming and think I’ll stay with them lol

I love me an Asus laptops. I have had two and they perform great. I generally like mine in an under $1500 format though lol. Are you sure there is no fingerprint scan? Mine has it weirdly embedded in the power button.

I own a 4080 scar and they used to come with OLED screens. Huge difference, why they went back on crap screens? this laptops have a lot of problems. Make sure you get a good warranty or get it from microcenter

How can you get an insane PC for 4k when an insane GPU is 2k alone. Plop down some money for an insane mb, ram cpu etc etc...,I'm well over 4k. Any suggestions on an insane PC minus the monitor, keyboard n mouse of course.

Prices need to go below $3k since the 5080 and 5090 are to be announced in January at ces and launching in Feb 2025, $2500 is the right price for this thing during a black friday sale, $4k on 2 year old tech isn't a good buy.

Just got mine a few days ago, I love it… Had 2 ROG laptops since 2012 this is my third, the keyboard gets quite warm while gaming I hope that’s normal. My main game is Gw2 and my god it looks amazing on this laptop compared to my old 17.3” one.

@ Yea for sure worth getting, the display is so clear… I also got the Ilano laptop cooler which helps a lot with cooling. I’ll download Minecraft and a intensive shader, and also Baldurs Gate 3 which is gonna be a perfect test which I’m sure it’ll crush, 233 ish fps for Gw2 with max graphics and a shader mod. So far I’ve only played Gw2

Very nice laptop but I guess I'll stick to my $1000 MSI with the RTX 4060. I personally, wouldn't pay more than $1600 for any laptop, so I guess a 4070 would be my max lol

Msi raider or titan much better than this, cheaper - 4k hdr mini led - build quality - power socket on the back. Thats very important for me

@@Grimmjow19872 Main problem with asus is a build quality looks and feels cheap plus old style power socket on the left side and of course is liquid metal which is proven it fails and asus warranty not cover it as they saying is your fault. Msi build quality is premium have proper power connector on the back and have paste on the cpu so no risk to fail like asus. A lot of asus laptops failing due to liquid metal there was before a lot about asus laptops online when i was looking for new laptop 5 monts ago but now most is removed from google search.

I go for Msi rider 18hx and is outstanding design and build quality laptop, games at 4k mini led looks different like new games and most of them runnig about 120fps @ 4k and some of them you have to use dlss on quality to get 100-120 fps. Do i will buy msi again ? YES 100%

@TechOdyssey I'd like to see how hard is to take off bottom cover if I decide to upgrade something in the future. I'd like to see which wifi card is there, is it upgradeable. I'd like to see if you have 2 x 1Tb disks in raid 0 or not etc. Hope that you got the point by now. Keep up with nice videos.

Do ASUS laptops still have the dive board touch pad? Those are super low quality. That screen looks bad for 4K USD, ASUS don’t get basics right, I have an ROG without a webcam and honestly there are moments when im ashamed of it. No battery life is a bad joke. If this thing had an Apple quality keyboard, really decent touch pad and 10 hour battery life and good speakers then yeah maybe I would consider it but for that much money you can get so much more. Like a great TV a console and an ultrabook.

@Grimmjow19872 I'm absolutely blown away. The Legion 9i, in my opinion, should be regarded as king of gaming laptops. I personally play all my games maxed out on hybrid mode. I have never played any game on performance mode, and it still handles it like a hot knife through butter. Talk about the build quality?. It is a beauty. Study casing with no plastics. The back has a forged carbon fibre. The specs 👇 Core i9 14900hx 64gb ram @ 5600mhz Nvidia RTX 4090 2TB SSD 3.2k mini LED (Dolby vision/Atmos and HDR 1000 Certified). Liquid cooling 99.99wh battery Tobii eye 👁 tracking And much more. I bought mine in may this year, and it's still as clean as out of the box.

The 4080 is 10% faster than the 4070 and the 4090 laptop is 25% faster than the 4070, it's the same performance as the rtx 4070 ti actually.

Is it beautiful absolutely has the best of the best and is pretty quiet as well but like you said Adam if you're at home you can pick up a desktop for way less money and be just as good if not better. For me if I'm buying a laptop it's meant to be just that a laptop which is meant to be portable and this is a behemoth (specs are nice but still no thank you). I had a multi function HP that did everything it was a 17 inch and was it nice yes but honestly was kind of heavy and hard to lug around now I carry a Acer 16 inch Chromebook that pairs with my P8P and I do cloud gaming on it and love it sure it's not going to blow anything out the water but it works and works extremely well.
