My parts are: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5800X Motherboard - ASUS ROG STRIX B550-E I built the entire computer but get no POST, specifically as soon as the power button is clicked the DRAM LED goes yellow and stays yellow indefinitely (as if its not getting past the very initial step) and the error LED's at the bottom have code '0d'. I have tried the following: 1 - Remove both ram sticks, check they are clean, check the slots are clean, then put them back one by one to test each separately to see if issue is one if the sticks but the issue remains for both. 2 - Use clear CMOS pins to try reset motherboard to default values in case it was trying to run RAM too fast, still doesn't fix it. 3 - Use BIOS flashback button and slot to install the latest BIOS onto the motherboard, which based on the sequence of green LEDS during the process appears to have gone fine, but even still the exact same issue remains. After that third attempt I really thought it would work because I have researched that for any new AMD CPU (5000) the motherboard will not come out the box with a BIOS that supports it and a new one will be needed, and allot of people with my exact issue (DRAM LED and code '0d') said this was the fix for them so it sucks that it didn't do the trick for me. At this point I am going to go round and make double sure all cables are plugged in solid just as a sanity check, but if even this does not do it I really have no idea.

@@KLGamers Issue solved - My RAM sticks weren't fully clicked in on their bottom sides, I really did think they were but clearly not enough, even tho the ASUS ROG STRIX B550-E board only has clips at the top side of the ram slots the bottom sides still need to have a distinct CLICK when pushed forcefully just like the top sides.

Not at all, nor the ram. It's not required for Bios Flashback, but it isn't going to hinder or interrupt the process either. I never remove mine. I came here to find BIOSrenamer... Should have jus unzipped the bios .zip I guess lmao

@@KLGamers the issue was resolved. The BIOS Flash did not execute. I had to jump the CMOS first. Adjusted the original RAM speed. Then the unit was fixed.

Dude ty so much for posting this I just finished my build last night, booted it up it went to control the asus panel, started downloading windows it errored out say I had to restart the download. After I pressed ok the board went to the yellow led light. Been searching everywhere watching dozens of videos , and none of them have said everything and showed everything that you just did to fix it.

I'm having the same problem with my b550 a gaming. I followed your steps on updating bios exactly how you told us. I actually replaced the ram as well but when I powered up, the light was still on dram. Pretty bummed. I checked to see if my ram slots we to e dirty or CPU pins were bent but everything seems fine. Mobo is about 5 months old as well. Not sure what to do.

I am new to this also, but i saw where you might try only installing one ram into one slot. whichever is the default for one ram. and if it works proceed to continue to add another. maybe swap the rams and try only a one ram start up t osee if both will boot up.

the thumb drive must formatted to FAT32 (right click format ) try various BIOS versions , use the BIOS rename tool use the specific USB port for BIOS flashing if still have problem might need send for warranty (something is faulty )

I wanna just share my experience with Ryzen 9 5900X + B550-E looks like similar to the B550-F. I stared using new usb key 32gb formatted in FAT32 using Windows but Flashback Light stay solid when I release the finger after 3 second. So i took an older usb pen 8gb and use 3rd part software for FAT32 formattig (Easeus Partition Master in my case) and this worked but took like 25 minutes for before the led stop blinking. The bios weighs several MB and the key was perhaps slow. but it worked!

Hello, I have the exact same problem, i unplugged the RAM and did the exaxt steps from the video, the orange led is still on even if I unplug the RAM, I still have no signal on the monitor. Can someone help me please?

I still have the same problem with the orange light, even tho I flash the bios with the right motherboard, I don’t know what else to do, since the ASUS website said that this motherboard supports the AMD 9 7950X3D

My gf is building a computer with a b450f ii and it still doesn't work after bios update 😭. She also has a Ryzen 5000 5600g which should work after bios update so I honestly don't know why this isn't working

@@valentincastillo735 En actualizarse la bios, unos 5 a 8 minutos... luego la enciendes, volvera a saltar el error del led (es normal) dejala tantito cargar y dara luz verde iniciando con normalidad el windows
